[Machine / Xyz / Effect]
2 Level 6 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 1 face-up "Sacred" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material, except "Sacred Ptolemys M7". (Xyz MAterial attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials of this card.) You cannot activate this card's effect the turn you Special Summon this card that way. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster on the field or in either player's Graveyard; return it to the hand.

So someone just had a conversation with me about how Koa'ki Meiru Drago is a bad card in Holy Marked. My answer was that as long as there's a way to get it off and on the field easily so that you aren't restricted, it's perfectly fine. It's then that I realized that there was a way in Holy Marked. Ptolemys can bounce it each turn, letting you SS to your heart's content, then NS Drago and let your Opponent continue while still restricted. Of course, this only helps if you have assortment of possible moves without Drago and with another monster on the field, but the idea is still there.

Anyway, discuss the card by itself as well as its uses in Holy Marked Dragons.

But then your opponent won't always be restricted. He's trying to find a different way to play Drago.

Drago restricts your opponent for a turn then you tribute it.

Then you remember that Ptolemys returns from Grave too.

Or that you could just bounce your opponent's sh*t.
He's saying that you can't add it back then Normal Summon it again. Which is probably the only real problem with the strategy. Of course at that point, you might already be ahead enough to demolish the opponent.

Ptolemys is an epic card. It really helps recycle those Holy Marks you used. Also, to answer Dog King's question, I will let this trope answer your question: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OurDragonsAreDifferent
