This came up when I was modding DN, and the DN card says it's mandatory, but Wiki and Japanese Wiki evidently say it's optional. That was...problematic, because how the hell are you supposed to rule something like that? Corrosive Infestation is a cost now, BKSS. The fact that you cannot return a Verz Extra Deck monster back by Corrosive shows that it is a cost and not an effect. Go die in a fire Konami for such an evil group of improper wordings. I wish I had a Galaxy-Eyes plushie... Whoops, typed my internal thoughts. And I don't particularly care too much about Corrosive. It makes more sense that way anyway.
