D:[/b][/color] [/quote] The combo is valid, but the level of dedication in the Deck is absurd and could just as easily be switched to one of the OTK versions. If I'm going to bring out Neo Galaxy-Eyes, I want to win WITH Neo Galaxy-Eyes. No point in dropping Neo Galaxy if your Deck could just as easily OTK with one of the other combos using the exact same cards. And you forget. I adore Galaxy-Eyes and Neo Galaxy-Eyes, but I also acknowledge they have little chance of being competitive until we get a very consistent combo to bring it out. evilfusion Posted January 31, 2012 Report Share Posted January 31, 2012 Fusion Gate isn't an issue at all. Gate is basically a reusable Polymerization that both players can use, counts as a Field Spell, and banishes the Materials. Chain Material lets you grab Fusion Materials from anywhere, but banishes them, prevents the monster from attacking, and kills it during the End Phase. For the most part, Chain Material is terrible outside the occasional clever combo, like Vehicroid Connection Zone, and the F/OTKs, and the F/OTKs are terribly inconsistent, so neither Gate nor Material need list attention. Although I'm mildly amused that Chain Material was used in the anime specifically to use with Super Polymerization to destroy the universe/12 dimensions. What's it's main use in RL? This Account is Unplayable Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 Just gonna ignore the dumb OTKs because I use this card for legit purposes and not being a f**. Honestly, if the Hero count is above like 5 this card becomes amazingly valid. Also, Heroes have a good Chain Material combo without the use of bad cards in the deck. You essentially thin your deck by over 10 cards and have ridiculous amounts of Voltic targets, along with permanent Fusions on the field by the end of it.
