Partangle the Candle Jangler
Kinda unsure with the OCG. 2 Level 1 monsters This card gains 400 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; gain Life Points equal to double the original ATK or DEF (you choose) of the detached card. If this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 Xyz Material used to Xyz Summon it.
BFG Studios
if you're unsure, i can help you with OCG 2 Level 1 monsters This card gains 400 ATK for each of its Xyz Materials. If this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 Xyz Material used to Xyz Summon it. tbh, i like the card... very simple, and seems like what xyz's need, plus can help other rank 1's since you can special summon one of its materials... however, this seems more of a Winged Beast type card to me, but thats beside the point... i think it'd have a better time on the field if its ATK/DEF was raised a little (it is an Xyz after all...), but either way, the way it is now works well too... i say its a good card, good job 9/
Partangle the Candle Jangler
Changed OCG yours is a bit closer thanks. Also, I thought I had changed it to Winged-Beast. Obviously not. Also raised the ATK to what I had it initially but thought it was too much. Many thanks for the comment. Here, have a rep.
ragnarok1945
it's Winged Beast for the type, not Winged-Beast well 1750 isn't much, but it'll work to handle quite a few lv4s the problem with the LP gain effect is that lv1 monsters have relatively weak stats and usually unless you can get it gain of 2000 or higher, it's not practical
Partangle the Candle Jangler
That's why it's double the ATK gain. I was gonne have it double the attack plus 1000 if the value was under a certain value (like say 800) but didn't know how to word it.
RedRuler
the problem with the LP gain effect is that lv1 monsters have relatively weak stats
Unless you used Meklord emperor Wisel or Skiel as Xyz Materials (although i highly doubt that someone would do that). Anyway, it's a decent card. PD: The Xyz Material that you can Special Summon must be one that was attached to it at the same time it was destroyed?
Generally, cards like this tend to remember what WAS their Xyz material, unless it leaves the grave. So, can be another. Card's pretty bad. LP gain isn't worth it, ever really, and the only thing this has going is 2 Xyz materials for a weak monster. Why would I ever go into this while Formula exists? And, please, don't say because Formula needs a tuner, especially considering most Level 1s that are run are, in fact, TUNERS. Level 1 Non-tuners generally come from tokens. This card doesn't give you any advantage, and the only thing about it that's remotely good is the revival effect... But, even then, it's sub par.
How the hell strong CAN you make a rank 1???? Level 1s can actually be strong though in terms of DEF.... And more like Substitoad, Charcoal Inpachi, D.D. Trainer, Flamvell Guard, Numen Erad Tastudo (that actually has quite a good effect) and Oppressed People. All examples have 1800 or more DEF so....... I know some of them aren't used but the point is they DO exist.

As I said, LP gain is worthless, and this card is really damn weak. I'd rather keep the level 1s and use them for Synchros
Partangle the Candle Jangler
Well nobody's holding a gun to your head asking you to use it. Your decision.
Blake
Sorry, I was just saying in example I would not. Let me elaborate. Any good player wouldn't go into this over a Synchro with the level 1s.
Partangle the Candle Jangler
None of the current rank 1s would be (or are) ever used simply because it's illogical to use 3 monsters to summon a weak one with no positive effects and low stats. The aim of this card is to make rank 1s actually plausible, as 2 level 1s on the field is a situation that can actually happen.
Blake
i understand the aim, but it doesn't succeed. It's still a -1 that doesn't really regain me any advantage unless it blows up, and, even then, sorta meh. It needs a bigger attack gain and/or something you actually WANT to detach a material for. I mean, look at Gachi Gachi Gantetsu. It gives gain to the whole field, 200 per material, and it can detach a material to preserve itself. It's a 2 material rank 2, but it's perfectly balanced. Think more along the lines of that.
Partangle the Candle Jangler
Thanks I'm going to revise it tommorrow.......took a while to squeeze something constructive out of you
