Leonis isn't needed indeed, but it was a very good addition. Did you try it? If it didn't work for you, then okay, but it's doing very well for me.

Besides, as I said, the main structure didn't change, and neither did the win condition. In a combo deck, having more combo options is good.

And Sheratan first turn is great.

But Leonis + Sheratan first turn is even better.

I'll just throw this out here now, before someone throws a fit about TC ignoring advice or dares to point out the Jack Witt clause at a time when it does not apply.

Personal style and preference is a perfectly acceptable argument against criticism or advice, as is experience with the Deck. The times when it is NOT okay is when one's defense of their card choices blatantly hinges on ignorance and stubbornness.

Also, taking liberties with the "standard" build in favor of a different style or tech choice is perfectly legitimate. Again, unless it's blatantly inferior and the defense amounts to "shut the hell up, I'm doing it my way".

No problems here. Carry on.

Thanks evilfusion. The other version of the deck have different details, but the focus is still the same.

Leonis has been doing very well for me. I can test hand traps instead of CotH and Fiendish Chain, and side Leonis for CyDra when needed. The details of the deck are very flexible, as long as you keep the main core.

The focus isn't the same. You have to generally focus on Rank 3s and Rank 4s to play this properly... I've been trying to argue this all along.

Warrior Returning Alive was just a wild idea, I replaced it for Super Rebirth. Let me update the OP.

Well, you can say the deck has "2" focuses, but that actually means more options. A combo deck with more diverse options is good in my opinion. You may disagree, saying that the main focus is weakened by this, but I didn't see that in the testing.

You can say Koko's deck has "2" focuses.
Normal Summon Pollux.
Normal Summon Kaust.
Pollux and Kaust to lvl 3.
OoO

Your focus is 3-4 oriented. You can make 5s (I won my duel due to Volca), but you can't say it's 3-5 oriented.

What you did see, me and Meta certainly didn't. Sorry, but eh. :l

You need to focus on the Rank 3/4 spam more. That's ideally the only way that the deck can go from here on in, as you really can't get Rank 5s out seeing as how Leonis generally slows that down. Run more Hyades and another Beehive, then take out a Rank 5 and a Pleiades.

@Above: It does, except I play Level 5s that I can actually spam out fast. You don't.

Oh, true. But then again, she played just 1, no? Or did it change?
Yes she plays 1, but she doesn't play Leonis.
She doesn't have any way outside of Kaust to make Rank 3s.
You have Leonis to make Rank 3s.
She also plays hand traps that take up her monster spots.

No thanks, I have much more luck with this build.

Twas a joke. But yeah, ideally this should be focusing on the Rank 3s and 4s. It won't be going into Rank 5 as much and you should be playing at least 2 Hyades and 2 Beehive, seeing as how they're going to be amazing for this deck in particular.
