The outline and crescent glows purple whenever Jacobi plays his Wicked God card (The Wicked Dreadroot). Additional changes appear whenever he calls on the power of his Wicked God. Both eyes of his turn purple, Jacobi appears to have a faint purple glow around him, and the hand holding The Wicked Dreadroot becomes enveloped in frigid purple flames. He dueled, despite not being good at all. On his tenth Birthday, a package containing an unusual Duel Disk and The Wicked Dreadroot card from an anonymous sender. Soon after, Duel Restriction Law 86 was passed, and, much to Jacobi’s distraught, his parents wholeheartedly encouraged it. The first day of that restriction, in the middle of the night, Jacobi was awoken by a voice...a voice that seemed to come from his Wicked God card, the Wicked Dreadroot. It told him to run, and strangely, against all his instincts, he did. After grabbing what he could and his Duel Disk and stuffing it into a worn-out backpack and pilfering his father’s credit card from his wallet (Jacobi had always been fairly agile). he ventured off into the world, eventually coming into contact with the Underground Duelists, and somewhat rose in rank from F-307 to C-102 over the course of three years.
