You'd pretty much have to deprive yourself of a good card in the off-chance your opponent will play that card. Also, the anime made no sense, like why Atem used Monster Reborn during Main Phase 2 and seemed convinced that means he won, considering the Gods return to the Graveyard during the End Phase. evilfusion Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 Not really. If I recall correctly, losing on purpose would invalidate the ceremony or whatever. Or it was a pride thing.
