Card is a mini swiss army knife, but some people still misplay it due to not knowing how exactly it works.

idgi.

Generally just an amazing card this format, seeing as how people will just blind MST it nearly all of the time.

This is why I'm running 1 everywhere now because it's fun. "What if my backrow is safe zone?" needs to be a meme. Oh, and chain it to their monster destruction and laugh like hell.

Yes. Or Dark Hole. Or smashing. Or ANYTHING, really. Except maybe Inzektors.
[/quote]

You chain it to them popping it with Hornet and they lose the Damsel before search. Any good Inzektors player will fall for it.

You maindeck it on your main deck, just like Tristan maindecks in Sacreds as well.

And I'm talking about the people that still think it stops your opposing monster from direct attacking.

I maindeck it in a lot of my decks, I don't really see how that makes it an inb4me...

I maindeck it a lot too... and I don't get why I was inb4'd either, it's not like I constantly go on about this card unlike a lot of other cards.

Of course, that doesn't mean that I don't consider this one of the best traps in the entire game, especially with how good it is in Heroes, Ninjas and Sacreds.

Speaking of Ninjas, anyone got a build anywhere...? I want to try them.

Its primary function is to create a presence barrier for decks that contain little to no floaters (like sacreds and malefics). These decks are usually f***ing bad anyway, for that very reason. This is also why GKs outrank malefics, because despite the fact they produce bigger beaters and can thus have higher chances of battle destruction, GKs have cards like Stele, Spy, and Recruiter, to continue the game even after cards like tt and dark hole.

A.k.a. its only good for bad decks, which means if you're playing it, its either in the wrong setting, or the deck is bad to begin with. This is also why I dislike the WDN version of ninja, despite the fact that I feel the deck has really good potential.

Heroes utilise Safe Zone near perfectly, and idk entirely about WDN Ninjas but Ninja Heroes probably use Safe Zone better than any other deck does, and it lets them gain tons of advantage, pretty sure you even agreed with me that the deck was great.

Also, both decks are at the top of tier 2, Heroes being tier 1.5.

Ugh, most annoying ruling on DN. Way too many people don't get it.

Chain Link 1: Inzektor Hornet, targeting (set) Safe Zone
Chain Link 2: Safe Zone, targeting Inzektor Dragonfly

Chains resolve backwards

Chain Link 2: Safe Zone resolves.
Chain Link 1: Hornet destroys Safe Zone, destroying Dragonfly by Safe Zone's effect.

Chain has resolved. Dragonfly is in the Graveyard and will not activate its second effect.

I recently thought of a (subpar) way to use Safe Zone.

Have ESPer Star Sparrow with Safe Zone. Star Sparrow cannot be targeted by opposing Effects due to Safe Zone. Due to its own effect, other cards you control cannot be targeted. Sparrow also can't be destroyed by battle or opposing card effects, and has 3000 ATK.

So then, all your opponent's targeting cards (including MST) are useless against you, and only non-targeting removal can get rid of Safe Zone.
