Legend Zero
http://www.foxnews.c...ork-invincible/ In a nutshell, it basically cannot be taken down unless the Internet is taken down. This is done by "downloading" files and such from other comupters, not the internet. Your move government.

Kizzi
This is what BitTorrent has been doing for ten years or so, the only difference being that trackers are P2P here too. The problem is if network traffic itself is blocked off, which this doesn't really solve.

Ieyasu Tokugawa
I think that's enough of the pics. Let's actually discuss now mkay? So the government can no longer stop file sharing. Joy.
Makο
I wonder how exactly the government will respond. I'm a tiny bit worried that they might have the balls to ACTUALLY pull the plug on teh interwebz. Only a tiny bit. I doubt it will happen, but I wouldn't put it past them. :/
evilhorus
You can't pull down the internet. It's impossible for many reasons.
Greiga
Now this is downright The only thing is that can't they still take away the client or something like that? It's basically torrenting where you don't actually have to go google the torrents. Or am I missing something? Also the Internet is the world's largest country and taking it down is completely stupid and impossible among other things. Oh btw Miror I'm still discussing. Fusion X. Denver
The benefits and dependencies of the internet outweigh the illegal actions that can be done and gotten away with. Pulling the internet down would be like forbidding anyone in New York to be outside after 10 at night to prevent rapes and late-night robberies, it's ridiculous. If they want to focus more on copyright issues, just go after things individually like they've always done.

Tentacruel
SUCK IT GOVERNMENT! So it's like torrenting but you don't have to find the torrent files! Pirate Bay, you have been replaced.
Kizzi
Do you guys remember when TPB were nearly taken down and they made a massive torrent of their entire site back-end/database so other people could mirror it?
