Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
I note numerous obtuse references to religion every now and then, and I thought it would be nice to see what religion YCMers identify with and why. What you do here is describe, in detail, what your religious system is like and why you follow it. I'll detail mine if people want me to. Atheism is acceptable. My religion is as follows: At first, the first atom of matter and the first matter of anti-matter came into existence - randomly - and brought time with it. Eventually, all of the buildup of nothingness (azrdvfk) caused the first atoms to gain omnipotence for a millisecond and used it to cause the first Big Bang. However, in the first universe, there was no dark energy, and the universe collapsed before life could come into effect. The compression by the azrdvfk caused another Big Bang to occur, but this time, the Archons decreed too much dark energy, and the galaxies drifted apart, spreading and becoming other dimensions, leaving only small particles and no dark energy. Gravity, remaining in effect, caused the third Big Bang. That universe seemed to be balanced, and still exists today. Hence, the reason why we perceive in three dimensions. The Rift of Existence, the "supreme deity," is everything and everyone that exists, has existed, and ever will exist, and therefore, free will reigns supreme over the universe and is completely unlimited by influences. However, guardian spirits used to create minds give them certain biases before birth, which is why people are the way they are. One would assume that Adolf Hitler had Kalphentirol Karkaraas as a guardian spirit, while William Clinton had Loki. All deities thought of by humans for any purpose at all do exist. The Polar Deities, however, have not yet been worshipped (with the exception of Artemis), not that they want to be. Free will, not submission, is true goodness. These are the Polar Deities, whose sole task is to enforce the laws of nature. Xal Kthaeon (M) of TimeEvron Kthaeon (F) of SpaceArtemis Coyolxauqhi (F) of Perception (not touch)Henitan Nfnhahor (M) of Perception (touch)Echitala Fortésa (F) of Energy (Quanta & Fire)Thrud Didthlus (M) of Matter (its existence and quantum interactions)Yokatae Orchanéseau (F) of Matter (its phases and transitions between them)Asuk Thonos (M) of Energy (Kinetic) Omniveracaelism includes all religions over time, hence the name (Derived from omnis, veritas, and caelum, or whatever the word for heaven is in Latin). This is the history of the heavens in one sentence: First, the Egyptian Gods ruled as the Titans, but were couped by the Olympians, who were then overtaken by Brahman, who was beaten out by Aten/The Abrahamic God, who still rules the world today. Summary: Unlike traditional monotheistic beliefs, the polytheistic religion known as Omniveracaelism stresses the power and necessity of free will and independence, rather than submission and obedience. It doesn't attempt to refute other religions. Though it recognizes that deities exist, it reserves their power to ensuring that scientific laws remain in place, and completely overturns omnipotence, deeming it impossible. It views evolutionary theories as correct. Its most important aspect is the stressing of independence over submission, and the supremacy of good over evil. J-Max
I was a Christian when I was younger but I lost faith when I prayed to God out of desperation when my father was abusing me..... When no-one helped me I gave up.... Then i became a Avid Athiest, Wouldn't Watch any Religious Programmes, Questioned Peoples Faith and became a Recluse to the Religion System. These days I'm still bitter as to why God didn't help me when i was a Kid....

Junk Raver
I am an Atheist For several Reasons I personally do not believe in God, Jesus etc.etc. As believing something which can alter free will, is like a mindwarping cult, and can produce some seriously wrong views and opinions, is just not right. Also being Gay, i have seen some sides of religions, through personal experience and factual programs, which show a great hatred towards Homosexuality from religion. Thats also an off putter. Some things within religion to me just seems a bit eugh, no sex before marriage, as if lol Saying all this i can understand why ppl do follow religion and why ppl have their beliefs, so please, no-one take offence or try to even argue with anything i have written, this is my religion as such, atheism

Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Wow, this thread is gaining popularity at lightspeed. O,o It's very interesting to see the various religions of the YCM forum (even if they are all Catholicism and Atheism...). Thanks for posting, it's really "enlightening." XD Anyway, I guess I'll post mine now. I guarantee no one will agree with me. It's in the first powt.

J-Max
Sorry I thought i'd say a bit more about my Hatred...... I feel a bit Upset at the moment so I apologize if i sound too bitter.... My mother was a Christian and always encouraged me to pray to god and to attend my Sunday School Sessions. Dad was having none of that.... (That's not the reason he abused me.... He abused me to take out his anger against my Mum....) Anyway Dad always used to say "You shouldn't F***ing Believe in that S**t!" Mum always used to back me up on that comment but we would both get hurt because of it... I remember the exact words I used in Desperation "God.... Please help me and Mummy... I'm scared Dad is going to hurt me again! Please help me!" My prayers went unawnswered & the abuse continued.... GRAH! I hate Religion! Where was God when I needed him!? Sorry.... I'm feeling tears welling up right now... I need some time to calm down.
SHINI [THE CHAOS]
I'm Catholic / Christian, but I don't go to church or anything. I follow what I think God would really want us to do. Like how Catholic's have stupid "Don't eat meat on Friday's" and stuff, I mean seriously if you eat meat on Fridays is God really gonna send you to hell? I believe that God will only send you to hell for Major Crimes. I have accepted God as my savior and I try my best to please him. I understand what Jspamax is saying though. There are sometimes I've prayed to God, and nothing happened. Even though I have accepted God as my savior there will always be that thought in my head thats says "What if he isn't real?". Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
I agree with jspamax. Fidelity and devotion are both dangerous in my eyes, and often lead you into bad situations if you count on it too much.

Can't look to the sky to get you through life, you have to learn to live life yourself, for self gain, because your really all you got in life. No one, especially something non-existing is going to come and save you, YOU live your life, YOU learn to deal with your problems, OR, in this society, you work, and pay a counselor to do that for you. I think my knowledge of the world is self evident. I know whats up, I've been lied to, and I'm free enough from the blinding cloud called emotion that most people experience to see the truth. Guest JoshIcy
I believe in logic.... many of my reasons are similar to Dj-Osiris' reason for being an atheist..... to me if something cannot manifest itself in a direct physical form i will not believe it, but i will enjoy the humor of it... like yugioh and other popular things..... i guess what im called is an agnostic... the messed up part is that with logic comes the similar cripples that hardcore religious people believe in..... i will not go in depth because how true logic works would take understanding similar to the buddhists in china who can null the feeling of cold and hot, which i seem to have mastered ^_^

rholowie
I'm Christian. However, I'm not one of those fundamentalist. The Bible is not meant to be read. It is meant to be interpreted. Much of the Old Testement is myths, made up to explain the world. So thus, they are not to be taken seriously. They're of course true, they just didn't happen. I do believe in God, very much. It's not a matter of "Okay I prayed, so give me what I ask." It doesn't work that way. You have to work toward it, with God's strength. He can help you get there, but it's our job to actually do it. I believe in evolution, as sprung forth by God. I don't believe in the literal story of Eden, which is merely the myth of the creation of the Jewish people. However, just because it didn't happen doesn't mean it isn't true.
