Becuase is Roschester as everyone sees what you'll pick...people taking away those GBs...will do it enterely if the do not need to pick something else...or if they want to hinder you coz they'd like you to rage...

In regular Draft...you opening a GB are facing a situation where you'll debate yourself wether to: Oh look a GB...Someone certantly may be picking them...or not?...Should I pick it just in case...will somebody realized I first picked a GB and they'll won't pass them...and what if I don't pick the Self Discards cards and someone else picking up those Dark Worlds?...and What if in the cube there is a JD and i'm passing those LS to someone else?...Etc

as it's over the interwebz, it's a face-up draft. Face-down drafts would be hell to organize. Everyone is aware of previous persons' choices.

If you only have 4 people.

We plan to get 8.

Why would that be a difference...also Roschester Draft is made for 8 people to begin with
Rochester Draft is a lot like Booster Draft, but there are a few important differences. Instead of each player opening a pack at the same time, only one pack is open at any time. That pack is laid out face up, so you’ll see all the cards drafted at your table. Also, the draft order reverses after everyone at the table has taken one card from the pack.

Let’s say that eight people are starting a Rochester Draft, and they’re numbered from one to eight clockwise around the table. Player 1 opens the pack and lays it out on the table. After everyone has had a chance to see the cards, player 1 drafts a card. Then player 2 drafts, and so on around the table.

After player 8-the person to the right of the player who opened the pack-has drafted a card, player 8 drafts a second card and drafting continues back to the right until all the cards have been drafted. (Since there are only fifteen cards in a booster pack, you won’t get a second card from a pack you open.)

Player 2 opens the next pack, and so player 1 gets the eigth and ninth picks from that pack. This process is repeated until everyone at the table has opened one booster pack. Then player 8 opens a second pack, but drafting starts to the right. Player 7 opens a pack, and so on. Player 1 is the first to open his or her third pack, and drafting starts to the left for the rest of the packs.
The Only Difference in Cube is that The Cube is the number of cards in each "pack"...but otherwise...it is the same EVERYWHERE...

Heck even the link explains it...Next time you learn to read...
Judging by the link, Roschester is the four piles, and it says to do that if you only have four people as opposed to eight.

Also, you only need to press the period key once after each sentence.

I Just gave you the Formal Definition of Rochester Draft in the quote...it is well explained

The one in the link is an adaptation...but the original Rochester Draft was implemented and used in MTG since like ALWAYS

.Rai explained that because this was going to be online Drafts will be made with the card uncovered...which is...well what Rochester draft works like...

And I don't give a damn thing about your period keys or whatever.

In this case, because I actually know what Rochester Draft is, I see no negative example of GBs.

If you draft GBs, you will near guaranteed start by drafting one of the GB monsters, probably a good one like Laquari or Hoplomus (which is good in cubes). If your play is disrupted, you have another 50 or so cards to choose. If it isn't, have fun with a good GB deck.

And it's a pretty equal chance of it being disrupted or not.
