If you're going to use slow-motion, whether it be in action sequences or CGI, at least don't overdo it. Like, the Appleseed movies had a perfect blend of whether or not to go into slow-motion. Obviously, you're going to use slow-motion for those extremely rad moves like flipping backwards to avoid a clawed attack from a deranged cyborg.

But slow-motion can also be used in comedic purposes too. Just look at the last scene from Blades of Glory.
