What happens when a mod spams?

Let's just cut to the chase: Welche isn't a mod, therefore the site is an oppressive dystopia. Come on, you're currently "proving" that the mods are abusing their power on the basis of "They lock topics that are duplicates of other topics" and "They sometimes use sarcasm". We all know you're not serious.

Well, mods don't usually spam that blatantly, to my knowledge. But they are not above warns. I recall Yankee mentioning he got a warn for Pika for a spam post in a TCG topic.

By the nature of section moderation, and you know, the fact they're the enforcers of the rules, mods do get far more leniency in most cases. I can go into a Your Deck topic, make a comment or scold someone, and not actually have to be on-topic. Randomly entering a topic and derailing it...uh...no one would do really anything about it, I don't think. There aren't usually mods to moderate the moderators, and everyone makes the occasional spam post. It's the frequency and results of a spam post that is more problematic than a single instance.

Which reminds me, since I'm in this mode already, I have to go warn Yankee for blatantly spamming/trolling in one thread.

Guest Welche

I assume Photon is referring to the same post as me. Thanks.

f*** off crab I used to like you.

On a related in the most loose sense ofthe word note, can you see who reported a post?

That seems unlikely. If sarcasm qualifies as spam, I used to be far more spammy than I am now.

Oh, that's right, back then you had hobbies other than whining about imagined oppression.

I dont think I referenced a single post, as much as a string of them in a row.

Yes, I can see who reported something. It's sadly vague at times what is being reported, though, even with a link to the content.
