Are Synchros Really Dead?

Recommended Posts

Well, this new banlist seems to have all but eliminated the feasibility of fast Synchro decks.
With not only Spore and Glow-Up Bulb, the key components of one of, if not the, most powerful Synchro engine ever created, gone, as well as one of the strongest Synchros to ever be created, so much so it became a staple in virtually any deck, I posed the question of whether Synchro Monsters are truly dead, why they are or they aren't, and if so, give examples of engines that can still work and churn out Synchros consistently.
I personally find Lavalvell 200 and Dragunities helpful, though I don't run the best builds.
Discuss.

What? People actually have to play a dedicated Synchro deck, and not run random +1 Tuners?
How is such a thing possible!?

I'm not talking about just throwing in a couple Effect Veilers so you can Synchro a few staples from an already-cramped Extra Deck with a primarily Xyz focus.
I mean a deck with at least 50% Synchros in the Extra Deck, and at least some actual focus on making Synchro monsters.

Junk Synchron
Dandylion
Doppelwarrior
The Fabled Ceribrul
Quickdraw Synchron

Synchros still have a few things that can get them out. So we had 2 good Tuners get limited and 2 more banned. Until we get a crapload of amazing Xyz, Sycnhros are still here. And even then Xyzs might not be able to surpass Synchros.

Effect Veiler
Junk Sycnhron
Fabled Raven
Debris
Infernity Avenger
Gale the Whirlwind
Cherry Inmato
Quickdraw
Cerribrul
Unkown Synchron
Black Salvo
Birdman
