Keep the materials, but you can detach 1 material to negate a card effect, detach 2 materials to banish all monsters your opponent controls, and finally, detach 5 to destroy all cards your opponent controls, then your opponent cannot play any other cards until their end phase, considering that their field becomes electrified to infinity.
