J-Max
I worked on a Concept like this a long time ago and decided to revive it and give it another go. There is already plenty of support for this including cards like Stealth Bird and Guardian Sphinx but wanted to add my own twist by rewarding you for these effects. Cannot be Normal Summoned. Can only be Special Summoned from your hand or Graveyard when a monster on the field is flipped into face-down Defense Position by a card effect. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect, Put 2 Dream Counters on it. Each time a monster on the field is flipped into face-down Defense Position, Put 1 Dream Counter on this face-up card. During each of your Standby Phases you can remove all Dream Counters from this face-up card and flip it into face-down Defense Position. Draw 1 card from your Deck for every 2 Counters removed by this cards effect. When this face-down card is selected as an attack target, it is flipped up into face-up Defense Position and control of this card switches to your opponent.
ragnarok1945
well it's not that hard to get onto the field the draw power is good, but I think you should still have a max limit to the number of counters you can have on this for example if you remove 8 counters (granted it would take a while to get that many), it's a 4 card draw, and that's just too much
J-Max
Maybe i'll do a Maximum number of Counters. But seeing as this card cannot use Spell Counters the means to actually get Dream Counters are much harder. If say your opponent plays Book of Eclipse, ALL of your monsters are flipped but of course this card is now VERY Vunerable. That's why I wanted the user to be punished if the card is targetted while face-down. She's "asleep" thus defenseless.
ragnarok1945
you can also force your opponent play like Book of Moon or something (I think that flips it face down)
J-Max
Yeah meaning all those Dream Counters are wasted putting the Maiden into "Defenseless" Mode. There is ways of flipping her face-up again after the effect. Book of Taiyou comes to mind. Maybe I should give her some Dream Counters when flipped face-up by a Card Effect. ragnarok1945
if that's what you plan to do, I'll await the modifications
