evilfusion
http://yugioh.wikia....rds_from_Beyond Precious Cards From Beyond Continuous Spell When you successfully Tribute Summon or Set a monster that requires 2 or more Tributes: Draw 2 cards. Okay, I won't lie. This card isn't very good. Except in Photon Sanctuary, where it's the most amazing card in the Deck that isn't named Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. Since the Deck already uses Photon Sanctuary to provide Tributes for powerful monsters like Galaxy-Eyes and LADD with little warning and minimal loss of card advantage, Precious Cards goes a step further and gives you back the card advantage. Also, it allows for amazing plays involving The Creator, who needs to discard to revive a monster, and is a Level 8 Light for use with Trade-In or Photon Sanctuary. And if you're really lucky, your draws from Precious will include other Level 8s that you can Tribute Summon next turn, especially if you use the Creator, as it revives more Tribute fodder with its effect. And dont get me started if you end up playing TWO of these cards at once. Studies have shown that Tribute Summoning The Creator or Light and Darkness Dragon while 2 Precious Cards From Beyond are on your Field greatly improves your odds of winning the duel, or Summoning the most epic monster since Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. Precious Cards is actually an extremely reliable draw engine in Photon Sanctuary Decks. Toffee.
Glad I pitched the idea to you, and nice to know that it's working famously. Also, I could argue that Fires of Doomsday could also work for a DARK based deck, except most of the higher level'd DARK monsters have Special Summon Clauses, and defeat the purpose of it :/
evilfusion
Also, Fires of Doomsday forces you to Tribute Set if you use it during the same turn you intend to Summon, as it stops ALL Summons for the turn, whereas Sanctuary only prevents non-Lights. And Photon Sanctuary gives you stuff like The Creator, Light and Darkness Dragon, and Galaxy-Eyes, plus you can still Summon Lights. But were you the one who first brought it up? Awesome. Love you for that. I tested it originally as just a tech, then tried to fit more of the Deck around it, and now I've discovered it's an amazing draw engine for the Deck. CDDRodrigo
Maybe if our metagame was slower, the Photon Sanctuary deck would've been Tier 1. It's incredibly consistent on what it does, has the powerhouses like LaDD, Rai-Oh, Tour Guide Engine, BLS AND Galaxy-Eyes for killing Xyz, and it has this draw engine too. But, the top 3 decks are still above it...
evilfusion
Well yes, it'll probably never be Tier 1. But it's outrageously fun. And that means a lot to me, especially since it can still hold its own impressively well against many opponents.
DARKPLANT RISING
I want decklist. :3 I dueled you before, and realized this is godly in that deck.
This Account is Unplayable
Would really like to watch when the deck really goes off. From what I've seen of it actually in play it seems like it can be really slow sometimes.
Would really like to watch when the deck really goes off. From what I've seen of it actually in play it seems like it can be really slow sometimes.
It can be, in case you draw combo pieces, but no way to use them. Fortunately, you usually still have a bunch of stuff to support yourself for a turn or two. I'm not going to say it can consistently hold its own against Inzektor or Wind-Up, because frankly, most Decks can't in the first place. But it's a fun Deck and very good if you face something a little slower and/or draw decently.
