When you would receive Battle Damage: You can banish this card in your Graveyard; Negate the Battle Damage, then place 1 Monster in your hand on the field: It is treated as an Effect Monster (Psychic-type/LIGHT/Level 3/ATK ?/DEF ?). When placed on the field by this effect: The monster gains ATK and DEF equal to half the Battle Damage you would take. You can only activate the effect of "Mind Bender" once per turn.
I don't know what I was opting for else than a unique effect.

Clarify if the summoning in the last effect is special or regular...... maybe make this card a tuner?.....good design

All types. Tribute, Special, Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz.
It's a valid wording as far as I know.

And I'd give up a spell to use this when I could just use 2x Necro Gardna why?

This is really bad, because you limited it so much, and you made it turn a spell into a monster.

Anything it can do, Necro Gardna can do better. Necro Gardna can also banish itself at any time, so this is easier to stop.

Remove most the nonsense limitations and make it able to use something other than a damn spell.

I thought that would be broken since the summoning itself basically bypasses anything.
Would a monster be better (pre-emptive asking)?
