Locals report with Ninjas

blahblahblah typical pre-tourny stuff happens.

Round 1: Crystal Beasts

Game 1: Kid is a very bad player, so I hold my power cards and just grind w/ Hanzo + Super transformation. He runs a lot of bad cards too, so I easily win.

Game 2: I end taking this with Adreus to pop stuff when I didn't have to. No offense to the kid, but he doesn't understand basic concepts.

1-0

Round 2: Hero Beat

Game 1: Kid is inexperienced, but runs a lot of trouble cards against this deck. I struggle mid game after he makes a Miracle Fusion play to kill stuff and G. Sparks wrecks my field, but he uses up a lot of power cards to put me in a bad position and I easily take it back with my own power cards.

Game 2: He gets out a huge shining while I have no outs to it with dead cards in hand(like BLS and Chaos Sorc). He plays Parallel Fusion and gets a second Shining, and summons Banisher of the Radiance. I drop cydra and run over banisher. He swings with both cards and im down to like 2400 i think. I drop my BLS because I finally have a light and dark. He immediately veilers. I swing over 1 shining, and he cant get anything back. He draws into one card and Shining, and sets it. I MST and swing over shining and swing for damage. He draws into nothing. I win because my dead cards become live.

2-0

Round 3: Hero Beat

Game 1: I lose die roll and he starts strong. He plays into my Super Transformations and I take it.

Game 2: I open with White Dragon Ninja, and can't handle his +s. He has a ton of answers when I go to push. I misplay and summon Darkflare dragon instead of Light Pulsar, and it costs me since I needed a light for BLS.

Game 3: I draw into my high level dragons when I needed a ninja or Rai Oh to seal it. He drops back to back Miracle Fusions.

2-1

Round 4: Valhalla Angels ft. Agents

Before the game, he's like are you on "my team name." I'm like "yeah." he's like "good I'm about to beat another one of you *bad words*. Me: "Ok."

Game 1: He searchs Jupiter with Earth and sets 3. I have no idea what backrows they could be. I summon hanzo, search into super transformation. Decide to bait out a backrow and attack into Earth, he doesn't activate anything. I set super trans and solemn. He summons jupiter, activates effect. He goes to attack, I chain Super transformation, he doesn't respond. he dark holes then storms lol. I draw to 5, and I just set torrential because my hand is like Cydra + Purplythorny Dragon and stuff. He plays Valhalla + Krystia. I torrential, he summons Shining Angel. I drop Cydra, He searches Hecatrice and then tries to put Krystia back on top of the deck. I'm like "what are you doing?" He's like "Krystia goes on top of the deck" That aint happening bro. I tell him whats what and he's like "oh okay." He draws to 1 summons birdman and is like "can I get my Black Rose from my binder?" Im not kidding, and I dont let him. I win shortly after. Thank god he didn't have CFD.

Game 2: He summons the 2900 darklord of valhalla late game and I have no outs to it right away. Im like "crap" i take some damage and what not. Im at less than 1000 and he's at like 500. I have a Upstart Gold Ninjha, and he summons earth, searchs for stuff, doesn't attack fearing Mirror Force/Super Art(which I had) I summon hanzo search a second Super Art. I attack into the earth, thinking "if he has honest, oh well, I lose anyway." He doesn't. I show him both super arts. He made the "right" by not attacking, but he didnt need to summon Earth. He had a marshmellon facedown.

Top 8: Chain Burn

Game 1: He gets his chain burn stuff going, and I cant get over his stuff.

Game 2: I go aggro and take it because of Double MST.

Game 3: His big chain messes us, and his Gozen match locks him out of game. (I had Raioh + Banisher and 3 Ojama Trio Tokens, while he had golemn in hand). I poke him to death, since he cant drop Scarecrows.

Top 4: Hero Beat(from round 3)

Game 1: I misplay badly and summon hanzo while he has T-King out. I lose because he gains a lot of advantage off this misplay.

Game 2: high level dragons + no summonable monsters make it quick work for him.

Oh well. I didnt have to play against Inzecktors(~50% of the field) at all. and I pull jank from my ORCS packs. Figured out what I need to do with my main deck to fix it(no White Dragon Ninja for starters).
