Brandon Michael Geren
They have one backrow I tend to use a live MST on it. They have multiple backrows I save it. They have 1 backrow that's been there for a turn I'll probably end up setting my mst as bait.
If they have 1 backrow why would you do that? Doing that prompts the opponent to set a new one because they no longer fear Heavy Storm when they set that backrow. So you're back in the same position, and you have 1 less MST in your deck. wat do

Dwarven King
Someone said MST was getting printed as Ghost?! D:
This Account is Unplayable
Baiting is a thing. It's pretty important when it comes to using MST correctly.
Greiga
I blind MST because slots 2 and 4 are usually where they set Solemns and slots 2, 3, and 4 usially have their big game winning cards. If you use MST when they set only 1 then it's usually a bluff or another MST. For reference 1 2 3 4 5 deck
Synchronized
Blind MSTing is usually the absolute worst
Normally, yeah, but if you're going to try and go for game (or at least do some significant damage/set-up Laggia plays) and they've only got 1 backrow, it might be worth it to take it out before you go ahead just to make sure you're not running into something. It'll be worth the risk even if the card is an MST to bait you because once you've got the field set-up you can counter much better. Facing Six Sams, that's one of the biggest problems I tend to run into.
Catterjune
I'm confused about the last line. Are you saying that you blind MST smartly when you have a play to make or are you saying that you play MST as soon as you draw it/as soon as it becomes live?
No.
Brandon Michael Geren
Why do they no longer fear Heavy when I play an MST?
Say the opponent has a Warning and a Fiendish in hand. Both are better than the other in different scenarios. However, setting both at once would be terrible if you have Heavy. As soon as you MST one of those, they aren't afraid of losing advantage off of Heavy so they set the second one. You're now back in the exact same position. wat do
Darkstorm9
I only blind MST irl, because no one has fiendish chains or anything like that around here.
