I will be carpooling there with my teammates on both days, they will be playing Tyranno Infinity, Dragoon Turbo, Blackwings, and X-Sabers. expect updates from myself during the actual event. Though, I hope I'm not the only one who will be going, and I am curious if anyone else from YCM will attend. Since the event is in a week, discussion for now should be about: 1) Meta discussion is riddled throughout most of the card discussions, and although they have a pattern, they aren't focused and tend to just have angry people be angry people. This thread should also be dedicated to the current meta and what will be at the ycs, for better theory-oh management of the tcg section 2) who will attend Since I live in the area, I can safely say that Wind-Ups are by no means a popular deck. Most people have adopted the mentality that the deck just doesn't compete with inzektors and rabbit, and is generally a giant money whore of a deck. Out of inzektors and Rabbit, inzektors are obviously much more popular, however the varient that is played most often is the one with hopper and zektkaliber. Little City is an extremely popular deck, California should already be known for having a big HERO population. With Masked Hero Acid coming out the week of, and the premium pack releasing yet another reprint of The Shining, HEROs will undoubtedly have a major showing at Long Beach. Dark Worlds right now are absolute horse shite, most people who have adopted the deck dropped it in favor of inzektors, until the next set with Card-Car D. You should totally go. And yes, my friend will be taking Wind-Ups. We both think Wind-Ups have a chance. Hell, Billy Brake won Regionals in Fort Worth (I was there) with Wind-Ups. And Jesse won't top, if he even makes it to day 2. Malefics are too inconsistent, which is what makes GK's better, because they actually have consistency.
