I might have messed some stuff up, I don't know what. I've been learning about XYZ by looking at random cards on the Wiki of YGO, but that's about it. So, here goes. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and pay 1000 Life Points: Special Summon it. If this card destroys a monster by battle, you can target 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy the targets. [/i][/center] [/spoiler] Since it's summoning requisition is pretty costly, I wanted to make it have an effect that sort of makes up for it. I still think the cost is too great. Anbu-of-Sand Posted April 9, 2012 Report Share Posted April 9, 2012 3 Level 8's is hard to get on the field to start (well in some cases it could be easier depending on the Deck) to start off. Second, was it intentional to force a detach if the card would be destroyed ? You should put in 'you can' there if you don't want it to be mandatory. Third, the last effect seems somewhat random. It's a Scrap Dragon for XYZ's I guess. Perhaps more so the REDMD of XYZ's since you can detach 3, pay 3000, then get out those 3 Level 8's afterwards for quite the field. The card itself however is a bunch of mismatched effects that although fairly well, not sure if it's worth using / putting together on one card that's hard to get out. I suggest giving the card an effect that more so is worthy of getting out / wants you to bring out this card over some other high level XYZ. I guess the card is okay, for now. [/i]to this [i]If this card destroys a monster by battle, you can Tribute 1 monster you control to target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy the target.[/i], i.e. it will allow you to make combos with Hieratic monsters, IF you choose to run them with Level 8 monsters, that is. I was too focused on "balancing" it out with the cost, I didn't really pay attention to the amount of sense the effect made together. I'll consider what you guys posted and re-do the lore. I also lowered the cost to 2 Level 8's rather than 3 since I nerfed the effect. It'll also be a lot more easier to use with Hieratics since they can easily summon Level 8 normals. Since you're detaching an XYZ material and paying 1000 LP, I made it halve of their ATK/DEF rather than 0, so they're granted some use other than fodder/tributing. Demon Loki Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 Clockwork Shikigami + Machine Duplication, is probably one of the easiest way to summon it. Since it's a Machine-Type with a very high ATK, you can go for an almost fatal attack in a Shikigami Deck.
