Imagine this being released when Necroface was @3...oh god.

I think there's a reason a card like that doesn't exist.

Return from the Different Dimension is 1 card that could be combo'd with it, but this card isn't the problem, RftDD is. Same can be said for Leviair etc. etc. Those cards aside, this card also works with Dimensional Alchemist / D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation / etc. as well.

Point being, this card isn't broken, it's the cards that can work with this card that are broken (other than D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation / Dimensional Alchemist). The card itself is good.

I actually like the card, it's just that I feel it can help create a huge number of combos and OTKs.
> Dark Desertapir (banish 3 copies of it = SS 3x level 4 or lower beast type monsters from your Graveyard.) (Rescue Cat all over again.)
> Tyranno Infinity (banish 3 dinosaurs and it becomes an instant level 4- 3000 ATK beatstick)
> D.D Scout Plane ( a +2 during your End Phase)
> Differing Dimension Master (discard 1 card to SS any of the monsters you banished)
> Necroface as someone already mentioned.

and so on.
Actually this > banish 3x Necroface > banish a total of 15 cards from the top of each other's decks.
Then, you can normal summon a 6000 ATK Gren Maju De Eiza, or a Tyranno Infinity with a shitload of ATK (if you're running a lot of dinosaurs).
Or do any of hundreds of possible combos.

All of this. WITH 1 CARD.

It's just too broken for me. It's certainly fun, but it's also too easy to use and promotes OTK/FTKs.

Certainly, this card creates a huge number of combos. But none of them except RftDD is an OTK, and as aforementioned the RftDD + this OTK is inconsistent and rather depressingly unplayable as a deck. It could be teched into some decks, but I doubt top-tier decks would do that.

This card creates new combos, makes bad decks much better, and still doesn't make consistent OTKs. It's good card design - at least, I think so. That's why I made it anyways.

Goddammit Kenta, why do you have to rub your Tour Guide free metagame in our faces?

It's essentially Foolish Burial on steroids, with how the banish pile is currently being used. However, the introduction of a card like this in the game might be the nail in the coffin for cards like Leviair, which definitely isn't a bad thing. It's really interesting design for a very simple effect, but honestly it lacks an actual practical use competitively, and would be stuck in the realms of the undermeta and the inconsistent.

It's a good example of reactive design. Designing in order to change things around it. Stuff like Leviair were bad examples of reactive design, since they totally ruined the point of banishing stuff.

The card points out a lot of inconsistent OTKs which Konami would otherwise not notice, and due to this being out there, other cards can go for good (like Leviair).

It does encourage a lot of new decks too, which is another great thing about it.

Personally, if it were released, the very existence of it would help balance the game. I like it. A lot.
