Reirai
This is a card I just randomly came up with, so I don't really have any intent behind it. But since I have to say something, I'll say that I just wanted to make a powerful kind of beatstick. Partangle the Candle Jangler
So, based off of what the final effect says, why on earth would you only detach one material if your gonna lose it regardless? Just detach 3 and get a beatstick with 16,000 ATK (!). I'm not sure...
Sander
So it's a 16k beatstick out from nowhere? Call me stupid or whatever you'd like, but that's just broken, even if it can be stopped. Oh, and excuse me being a grammar Nazi, but you NEVER use "an" when the next word starts with a consonant.
LOTRboardprods
This card is broke. if your opponent has virtually any monster in attack mode and you summon this thing it is a instant win.
ekko1990
I'd suggest that you put more limitations on it or make its effect weaker (f.ex. boosting its atk by x instead of doubling it). Also, you don't need the "destroy any remaining XYZ materials" part as all materials will go to the graveyard when this card is banished anyways. Reirai
Oops. I meant it to have 2 Materials. Fixed now, plus I halved all of its battle damage.
Partangle the Candle Jangler
But it is still, essentially, a rank 4 with 8000 ATK. Do you really think that's balanced?

Do you really think that's balanced?
Apparently, he does. Hell, with it just requiring 2 Materials, it's even easier to get out, ie making it more broken. With 3 Materials, it did require some form of set-up, but with only 2, it's really easy to Summon it. :I
Reirai
Forgot about that. So you think I should raise the Rank and the number of materials? I only lessened them because I didn't want it to be used multiple times, but I was trying not to use the once per turn thing since I use it all the time. Reirai
Update: Changed a lot. What do you think?
Partangle the Candle Jangler
Well now it's a totally different card, it's way harder to summon, but it essentially still has 8000 ATK, which just isn't right.
Altαir
How could you say this card is overpowered? Based on the current metagame, this card has a very small chance of attacking and actually dealing damage with no inturruptions. Heck, in fact, this card has a small chance of surviving long enough to actually attack. In most cases, sacrificing 3 Level 6 monsters for just one card is a pretty bad idea, 8000 attack or not. But I wouldn't say this card is weak, either. A deck can be made around it, which involves quick, massive damage and field clearing, as well as some big beatdown cards as well. I really like this card and the concept. Had you come in a year ago with this, I would've told you that you were crazy. But nowadays, it isn't easy to keep big cards on the field, especially when they threaten your opponent like that. The only thing I have a problem with is the 3 Level 6 monsters, and a bit of the effect. Make it 2 Level 6 monsters - 3 would detract people from actually using the card. And, make it so that it's an all or nothing. While you don't have to, note that cards don't stay on the field for long. Doing +2000 each turn could go to waste if it's destroyed, and doing +4000 is sacrificing a card that didn't use its full power. But that's up to you. Love the look, by the way. Altαir
Yeah, pretty easy. With the plethora of ways to stop and destroy this card or negate it's effect or attack, I highly doubt it'll be seeing the sunlight for long.
Just because a card can be stopped does not mean a broken card is any less broken. By that logic, the fact that Solemn Warning / Judgment / BTH / Veiler etc. exists makes cards like Brionac, Dark Armed Dragon, Judgment Dragon / other broken bosses balanced. Altαir
This card's effect specifically increases its attack to monsterous levels to inflict massive damage, then it leaves the field for good. It can't just be Special Summoned again, because to work, it needs all of its Xyz materials. The opponent only loses half the Life Points they normally would. And it's not just cards that destroy/remove this monster. Cards that can prevent attacks, cards that can reduce attacking power, cards that increase defense - those cards will destroy this one as well. It's basically a mini Limiter Removal with lots of drawbacks on only one monster. Unlike cards like Brionac and Dark Armed Dragon, which destroy cards like no one's business, this card not only has many drawbacks, but it also has many more cards which can negate the only option it has - to attack.
