Generic Xyz

You know I was seriously trying to think through this, but thought I may as well bring it up for everyone else to discuss.

Back when Synchros were prevalent, hell, even in decks now that use Synchros, there are a select few generic Synchros that EVERYONE used. i.e. Armory Arm, Catastor, Librarian, Brionac, BRD, Stardust, Scrap Dragon. And there was what almost seemed like a checklist to see which you should put in a deck.

I now wonder if there's something similar that's occuring with Xyz. Currently in the TCG, there are only two real generic Rank 4 Xyz that everyone will consider running, those being Utopia, Roach, and now, the third, Maestroke. In the OCG there's Lavalval Chain, Daigusto Emeral, Gem-Knight Pearl, Black Corn, etc.

Rank 3 and 5 are much more prevalent, what with Zenmaines, Leviair, Leviathan, Giga-Brilliant, and Acid Golem for Rank 3s and Adreus, Volcasaurus, Tiras, and Zenmaioh for rank 5s (with a little Gaia Dragoon on the side).

So my question for you to discuss, YCM, is, when there is space in your Extra Deck, and you're looking for a certain Rank, what card would you normally choose, or in what order would you fill up the open slots?

Obviously, there will be some discussion as to what deck you're using and such- Macro will probably go with Leviair first- but try to think about it in more general terms, as if your deck can go for every rank and each monster doesn't have a significant advantage based solely on what deck you're using... in other words... pretend you're playing Inzektors with Gullho/Ladybug.

Pretty sure that Acid Golem is better than Muzuwhatever

Also, Crimson Ninja and that Camera thing are pretty good.

[/quote]Crimson just saves itself from destruction like most of the other Xyz that do that, though it does it a lot worse since another Rank 5 would do something better. Camera is just simply inferior to Strike Bounzer.

I completely forgot Acid Existed x.x

Ninja's a Zenmaines, so yeah, and the Camera is kinda subpar

Utopia, Blade Armor Ninja, Giga-Brillant, Zenmaines, Zenmaioh, Adreus, Tiras, Leviar, Acid Golem, Leviathan. Those are the ones that I generally use in most real life decks.

Rest all depend on the deck, how much free space is remaining.
