El Majishan
So for awhile, Utopia as been the King of Generic Rank 4 since the creation of the XYZ mechanic....then Maestroke came along to give him a run for his money. Based of personal experience I found him to be way more useful than Utopia. The ability to put a Monster face down can be game breaking and built in protection is a big plus. Utopia is the better beat stick, and its cool that he can protect your other monsters..but there is the "lolMindControl your Utopia to make Utopia Ray" play people love to do..and when he is out of materials you can just punch him with a Sangan. So in my opinion..The little devil wins...better utility and protection is better than a big body any day. YCM you thoughts? (BTW Maestroke should have been an Ultra, we already have an Ultra Utopia...just saying)
Manjoume Thunder
[s]Black Corn beats both.[/s] To be honest it's a fairly silly thread. You can really compare two members of a big toolbox.
El Majishan
Hmmm, I guess I should have asked which do you usually go for on a regular basis and why.
Agro
If the opponent doesn't have an immediate threat on the field that Maestroke- or really anything else- can handle, you go for Utopia. Plan and simple.
DARKPLANT RISING
If you have only 1 space, obviously Maestroke. If you have over 2 spaces, both.
Zeal Ascendant
Uhm. What about pearl, emeral, chain, and (to a lesser degree) roach?

-Berserker-
Maestroke if not both. It can survive more than what Utopia can.
El Majishan
since i added Maestroke to my extra I hardy go into Utopia..Maestroke has won me a alot of games.
Monsieur Madeleine
I honestly prefer utopia, since it let's me preserve my entire monster lineup rather than just itself, which can be very important after an OTK is stopped by Gorz or the likes. BehindTheMask
Depends on the deck you are playing, but play both, and Roach right now. Roach will be good for Heiratics

Wizarus
Both are staples in a deck that uses Rank 4 XYZs, and both do different jobs, so it's hard to really compare them.
This Account is Unplayable
2500 is still an important number. I've only ever summoned Maestroke like twice.

Zeal Ascendant
Oh, sorry then. I guess I was kinda stupid there. But Pearl will be TCG pretty soon... :S Anyway, I'd say that Utopia is better just for that attack. If maestroke had a QUICK effect, then that would be a very different story...
