Recently rewatched the last season of yugioh and got to thinking bout making a balenced card for Zorc[attachment=34517:Zorc.jpg]

unfortunately, no attachments/thumbnails and could you also put the lore (effect) of the card below so that it would be easier to rate

So basically it looks like a double-edged sword, gains 2x ATK of the target, but then drops to 0 during the End Phase making it a sitting duck during your opponents turn, sure, it'd be kinda worth the effort getting out, but it would become fragile in battle when it comes to your opponents' turn.

So, he's... invincible? I haven't played in a while, but if the ATK is figured in the Damage Phase wouldn't that mean that the opponent's monster is not only destroyed, but their life points take a decent hit? And it can't be effected by Spell or Trap card either. And it's pretty easy to summon. Way OP, in my opinion, but keep at it!

I don't think it'd be a sitting duck, it'd be just as powerful as if it were your turn. The effect is applied whether it attacks or is attacked. But I'm not too great at this, sorry if I be wrong :/.

here is the effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set Summoned. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 3 DARK monsters on your side of the field. This card is not affected by Spell, Trap, or Monster Effects. If this card attacks or is attacked then it gains double the amount of ATK that the target monster has during the Damage Phase. During the End Phase return the ATK to 0.

Single problem. What's the point of it's ATK returning to 0? The only adjustment you need is to change the 'if this card attacks or is attacked..." to 'If this card attacks...', and it will be fine.

Maybe, During the end phase these card used this effect, turn this cards attack to 0
or During the end phase turn this cards ATK to 0 since return means from something, but somethimes you might not use it so.

but the effect says "During the End Phase return the ATK to 0." so it probably would be a sitting duck the next turn, but the thing is, i wouldn't see anyone use this unless they had protection so its effect can be used on your next turn.

[/quote] If you didn't notice, the effect applies 'when this card attacks or is attacked...', so the moment it's attacked, it saves itself. Another big problem is that it can't be effected by effects, making it invulenable to attacks and card effects, which is everything.

ok...ok i made a mistake ok, it can save itself, the card really is OP escpecially with the multitude of DARKs out there, it's easy to get this [b]OP invincible[/b] card out. [s][size=2]now please don't quote me[/size][/s]
