This guy beat me to the punch in posting the idea but he seems to have ditched it. With kaibacorp releasing a one-download solution to ygopro, I can see the program being more popular and taking over DN. What's nice with ygopro is not only the automation (and therefore less mod bullcrap like DN) but also the ability to store multiple banlists. So the idea is that multiple banlists (kind of like Pokemon's tiers) could be implemented such that more novel decks can be used and the metagame can be more diverse. Since the people have the power now, we can actually make banlists more fun for more people. For example, TrollNami killed Synchroing by killing the Plant engine and Tengu, which are not that bad now considering the derpy things XYZ decks can do. We can even hit Tourguide. Here's what I think the tiers should be. Forgive me if I sound noobish since I don't really play competitively: Tier 1 - nerfed Inzektors, nerfed RabbitLaggia, nerfed Wind-Ups, Dark Worlds, Unbanned Plants, Hieroglyphs (maybe unban Fishborg as well...?)...basically the "consensus" tier 1, 1.5 and 2-ish decks since the top tiered decks would be hit. The game here would be less herpy derpy first turn spam so slower decks can also thrive. Tier 2 - Past meta-but quite competitive decks - Agents, Infernities, Frogarchs, X-Sabers, Blackwings... Tier 3 - Lackluster past meta decks - Dragunities, Naturias Tier 4 - Semi-Competitive decks - maybe Genex Tier 5 - Strictly fun decks - decks that use Mystic Tomato, stuff like Amazoness decks, the new Higher tiered archetypes and decktypes can appear in lower tiers nerfed. We don't want TrollNami Lite so I think the banhammer must be wielded carefully. Some bans are fairly obvious. For example Tourguide, nobody likes her and she enables so much sh*t. But then some cards need other cards to be successful, most prominently boss monsters. For example Dark Armed Dragon, Machina Fortress and Trishula without a good engine are just dead cards. A lot of archetypes are good because of an engine and not specific cards. Tech cards are also another problem. From stuff like Gorz and Trago to cards like MST and Monster Reborn. I think the official banlist should be followed for stuff like this and that way decks can actually move up or down. In order for this to work, the community must be considerably big so the banlists would be democratic and "official" enough so I'm considering posting this on other forums as well. But I'm gonna see the response to this first. The guy who first posted this idea got quite a few hits on a pretty quiet forum so I think this is a pretty good idea. So...what do you think? HSektor
Naturia and Dragunity are older than Blackwing? What. Also, thread locked in 3...2...1...
red12345
Wait...it isn't allowed? I thought this was for TCG...?
This Account is Unplayable
Wait...it isn't allowed? I thought this was for TCG...?
Pika's a nazi mod, anything could get locked. OT: All I saw was "unbanned plants" along with nerfed Rabbit and nerfed Inzektors. That kinda makes Plants tier 1 and everything else worse. As for the rest, I haven't used ygopro much recently since idk why anyway... so idk. red12345
I see. Hope this thread is acceptable then... The tier list is pretty much off the top of my head with my limited metagame knowledge. It's probably not very good at all. Hopefully the yugioh online community can help. Dr. Cakey
YGO Pro? Is that KCVDS? And it's...automated? Really?
Miror B
DN is good because it doesn't require download or Hamachi. Also a lot of us have conjectured that YGOPro took the programming from the Konami games and will get into legal trouble. That's just a guess though. This Account is Unplayable
DN is good because it doesn't require download or Hamachi.
Just gonna point out it doesn't require Hamachi, it requires port forwarding. Either way it's much more of a pain to use than DN.

Kaibacorp released a version which has everything in one and even has anime cards.
