Toffee.
WOAH, WOAH, WAOH... TRONTA IS BACK!?
Tronta
I got bored so I thought I'd see how YCM was doing. A month or so ago I got dragged on to dueling network and have since refined jar into a much more effective deck. I win about 9/10 games with the damn thing. I also hear tour guide and duality are due for price drops, so I might actually make it. With day of peace and tour guide, the deck is way more consistent than it should be, and the only common stoppers people run against me is effect veiler which gets countered by a book and warning which is useless since I never summon. So I thought I'd play until tour guide gets limited. And that eventually led me here. I probably wont stay for long. Just saw a lot of the same names still posting and thought you all could use a little flip in your life.
Canadian
Consider maining Gold Sarc. Gold Sarc + TGU makes instant Morphing Jar Gold Sarc + One Day makes a 1 Turn wait for any car you need. Also, why only 2* Book of Sun? And is Heavy Storm in your Side?
Tronta
2 books of sun and 3 ad are all I need. Runs more consistent at 2 than 3, after testing. Reduces dead draws. I've been looking to replace void with something, and sarc might be a viable choice. I'll try it. There isn't currently a side deck, but if I had to s*** one out on the spot, it would be something like.. 2 Trap eater, 1 heavy, 3 mst, 2 sarc (assuming I'm putting one in), 2 ddr, 2 starlight road, and like.. 3 lava golems. Assuming an extra deck of 4 or so cards, 2 stardust, black rose and brio.
Canadian
I know thats just s*** out on the spot, but its pretty bad.
Just Crouton
HOLY SMILING CYCLOPS IN A JAR! TRONTA IS BACK! Why don't you use The Shallow Grave?
Tronta
Shallow grave has no targets in this deck except jar. Jar will ideally never hit the grave. If it does, in the worst case it can be recyclable through feather, but if I have made jar vulnerable to destruction then I have misplayed (i.e. flip summoning him, attacking with him, letting my opponent have a turn). Next, the meta has, I'm sure, changed a lot. I don't really pay attention to it, frankly. When I play other people on DN I kind of just make sure they're drawing when they're supposed to and ignore most of the rest of it. That being said, I have no idea what runs in most side-decks right now, but to defend each choice: Trap eater runs as an effective solution to some of jar's biggest counters like skill-drain and macro. Granted, oppression is no longer in use and skill-drain can be dodged with books. Still, it was an old side-deck choice I had back when there were oppressions everywhere. I also don't really trip oppression that much anymore. So I could see this going out. Heavy and MST are for similar reasons as above. A well timed solemn can totally give me diabetes. DDR is for those rare macro decks. Honestly if I ever need to recover jar from the rfg, I've done something horrible wrong and the game state is likely irreparable, so I can see this leaving the sidedeck. Starlight is another old choice. There was a period right after starlight hit its peak that destruction dropped off the radar pretty dramatically, but I think it's back significantly, if I'm not mistaken. The new craze might be single target destruction, so I can lose this. As I mentioned before, I don't really understand the meta right now. And last, lava golem is f***ing hilarious. To defend it, effects are more dangerous to me then damage from attacking. Things like that stupid railgun a****** and effects like DAD and whatever else is out there right now (negation and removal especially). I don't really care if I drop a 3k beater on your field, so long as it gets rid of heraklinos. That being said, lava golem isn't really stoppable by any sort of negation short of solemning. So, ya know, they -3 themselves. TL;DR A lot of those choices are dated and probably no longer matter. I don't know what currently accidentally stops me, aside from myself. I should probably keep the heavy/mst and add wabokus to the side deck. And I love lava golem.

Tronta
get jar via sangan or tourguide->sangan or drawing (there's like 16 draw cards). set jar and manipulate its position with books and ad changer. draw card destruction, generate hand disadvantage play card destruction, generate deck advantage (they draw more than you if they have a fresh hand and you are down 2 or 3), recycle card destruction. do math to produce a scenario in which your opponent dies before you do. it goes well nate. jabber2033
Hey, welcome back! Deck doesn't look too bad. As far as the meta goes, Inzektors and Dino Rabbit are the top decks right now. Wind-Ups I think lost a bit of steam, but they are fairly decent. I've heard Heroes are decent, as are Dark Worlds that run Skill Drain. There are probably others. I think Six Sams are gonna get a boost with the next Structure Deck release as well. They've also removed Priority as well.
Tronta
How does removing priority change the game? Does bottomless stop things like caius now? Or is there a different order to who gets to activate things first in a chain? Also, dark worlds scare me. I've only played against one with this version so far, and I only managed to beat it through technicality. He swarmed his field, therefore he could not summon gold/silva in response to me milling them. Is there a good response to those that I can run in this? DARKPLANT RISING
ohai you're back. OT: Bottomless can't stop caius. Goldd and Sillva are usually ran at either both 0, or 1 Sillva and 0 Goldd. Grapha's the bigger problem when it comes to DWs. Anyhow, what do you think about Card-Car D? I'm not an expert on this deck, but I supposed you might not know about its existance, so. Tronta
I like card car for slow games. what to drop if I include it? Goldd and Silva aren't run? Then I win for free. Grapha doesn't have a destruction effect right?
Tronta
I looked at the tourney deck that did so well. Frankly the match writeup made it sound like he was stacking and his opponents were tools. Keep punching the divers in game 2 and 3, great plan. Anyway, there's enough generic destruction around (I think) to merit tour guide over diver, and I've looked into some utility options. This is just in the test realm. http://puu.sh/w28J The budget version of this deck will replace tour guides for divers and dualities for voids and mallets, in your preferred ratio. Given the nature of the deck as is, void does not lend itself well to the playstyle, and is oft counter-intuitive, so I have removed it. Mallets were removed to free up space. Book numbers were reduced, as were some draw, search and utility cards to make room for more stall and other utility, and to hopefully reduce the number of dead draws. And running 3 Beiige and/or Sillva along with Dragged Down and DWDs and Gates means Grapha can easily revive itself. Seems like Chaos Dragons are a new force in the meta as well. Chaos Dragons won YCS Philadelphia this past weekend and topped before at Dallas.
Tronta
Dont care much for chaos dragons. They don't seem to accidentally counter me. That being said, yo f*** grapha. That kid is a fuckin a******. Can't even dodge that s*** with a book.
