Bahamut - Envoy of the End Posted May 2, 2012 Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 Anyone else think that the Gimmick Puppet archtype will see a belated debut in Abyss Rising when they have a few more numbers, like OOPArts did in ROTD? I think they will, then Tron's cards will be similar in the set after. This could be very versatile if released, what with Ennead and Giant Killer about and plenty of dumping methods (Armageddon Knight, Dark Grepher, ChaosSworn, probably TCG exclusive support). The Tech Genus that appeared in that episode were Striker, Warwolf, Cyber Magician, Rush Rhino, Power Gladiator, Wonder Magician, and Blade Blaster. They do not appear in the series again until episode 107, when more or less all the same monsters are used. In episodes 144-145 which aired in January 2011 in Japan, Catapult Dragon, Jet Eagle, Hyper Librarian, Recipro Dragonfly and Halberd Cannon debut, along with the anime exclusives like Metal Skeleton and Gear Zombie. Released in Extreme Victory on 11th February 2011 (OCG). So yeah, it might just be a case of waiting for enough of the archtype to appear over time so that a decent number of them can be released together. Vizor just didn't appear that often until the end of the series, and indeed the Synchro era, whereas by the end of his duel with Shark IV will have used enough by then.
