If you control another monster, this card cannot attack.
I'm not seeing why people keep saying this is good in Bublebeat, because it just seems terribly cloggy if you already control a monster and its a terrible top deck mid-late game. I've also seen alot of people run 1-2 of it, but they never bothered to grab into it with RotA, because Alius is much better since it has the advantage being a Gemini and being grabbed by Hero Blast/Shining's effect, or Bubbleman because top-decking that without other cards provides draw power and it can immediatly be dropped to the field in most cases. Yes, its 1 of THESE topics. Discuss.
Blake
Calling it now- Someone is going to b**** about Slasher -> Thrasher, even though S and TH are interchangeable in Japanese as well as the well known L/R confusion. It's a cool card, just not many practical uses. Also, if you were trying to be witty with "Trasher" in the title, you failed horribly.
Agro
It's not that amazing in Bubblebeat. It works a lot better in just regular HERO beat, being LIGHT and all. Basically the only reason it deserves use is because there aren't that many monsters in the Deck, so having it be able to SS itself is fairly easy to do. Plus if you have another monster, you're going to Xyz with it, so that really isn't a problem. Basically, it's there to be LIGHT, have 2100 ATK, and Xyz fast. This Account is Unplayable
I've honestly never even found it useful outside of Photon Drain. But from what I've seen it looks good in Vylons too. Looks abysmal in Bubblebeat though.
evilfusion
Okay, so originally, I dismissed this card due to being a Semi-Nomi Level 4 Cyber Dragon with further downsides involving its ability to attack. I've seen it mostly used in HERO Decks, and heard it highly recommended in Heroic Decks, due to its abilty to help form Rank 4 Warrior Xyz like Excaliber or Ninja. Further reflection told me something: This card is actually GOOD. Maybe not staple-good, or even necessary, but it's good. It has a lot more uses than you'd think. First off, it's a Level 4 Warrior. This makes it searchable by Photon Lizard or Reinforcement of the Army, and retrievable with things like the Warrior Returning Alive (if you'd ever consider that), plus access to all Warrior Support. 2100 ATK is acceptable. But the nice part is, you don't rely on your opponent. Just so long as YOU control no monsters, you can SS this, even if your opponent also controls no monsters. This makes for some very nice opening plays and can boost you towards a Rank 4 Xyz. I recently considered Thrasher + Rescue Rabbit can drop a 3 Material Rank 4 (there are several good ones), although this use is admittedly reduced by the realization that Rabbit can make more devastating plays with things like Laggia, but it'd seriously help Rabbit Decks access more beatstick/utility options that the 2 Material Rank 4s may not be able to do on their own. For example, if you're facing a 2600+ monster, Rabbit can only do so much on its own, like Dolkka/Laggia (not strong enough), Utopia (a decent defense, assuming no effect issues), Pearl (has no effect at all), Black Corn (not useful against a stronger monster), Emeral (hope for a good draw), Lavalval Chain (Delayed use). But if you run Thrasher and then Rabbit, you could end up gaining something like Shark Drake (if opponent's monster is 2750 or less, this could do a LOT of good), Ouroboros (excellent), Shock Ruler (situational), or Disigma (also great). It provides options. It also reduces the potential of some of your (Normal) monsters clogging because while a Sabersaurus or a Guaiba isnt "bad", they're not very useful in a situation where you want to Xyz Summon a Rank 4 that turn, and having a method to quickly gain an Xyz would benefit. Skill Drain Decks also enjoy this, as the swift SS and the sudden lack of drawback on a 2100 beater can change the situation. It's also a neat anti-Rai-oh card in HEROs, as if Rai-oh doesn't negate the SS, it can attack and kill Rai-oh, and if it does, you'll regain access to cards like Stratos and Emergency Call (this happened to me a LOT when I faced some HERO Decks). Being Light gives it Honest support, and it "could" be an alternative to Wulf in LS/Twilight, although not a very "good" replacement. I think it has potential and it's underrated, even by myself until recently. I have not yet tested this potential.
