Exa Raiun
A set which is both flavorful and balanced? Let's check it out! Peacock and related cards: A series of Toon monsters which are actually unique in effect - not to mention it fits the character. The way they are connected together makes you build the deck around them. Some of the support monsters have suboptimal effects (milling your opponent can backfire on you, and a DEF boost on an archetype which relies on direct attacking seems counterproductive a bit), but I understand the point behind them. Filia: A Mystic Swordsman effect combined with an effect to deal with Attack Position monsters, too. A decent beatstick card. Cerebella: A Berserk Gorilla with extra burn damage (and quite high damage, at that)! The stat boost effect cannot be judged at the moment. Parasoul and Black Egret: EARTH Warrior decks would love the exploitation of Parasoul's fetching and Black Egret's summoning effect. Combined with cards like Marauding Captain or Goblindbergh, you can go fast for Rank 3 or 4 Xyz Monsters. Parasoul's Trap protecing effect can be also effective in this backrow hating meta. Ms. Fortune: Flavorwise, it fits perfectly to the character. It can disrupt the enemy strategy, but it is not too strong, I believe. It would need further playtesting to decide if it is balanced. Painwheel: Underwhelming with a situational effect. I honestly don't find a case where it could be effective (unless the opponent is heavy on Enemy Controllers and such, but still, most people would just run over it) Valentine: A beatstick with slow debuff / stall capacities. Not sure how I do feel about this one. The last one could screw some monsters though, I give it that. Double: I honestly expected an effect based on its shapeshifting abilities. Instead, we get more raw power with a massive drawback which could bite you hard. Skull Heart and Marie: A Ritual Spell which deals effect damage and a Ritual Monster which could work well in Zombie World decks? I like it. I actually wonder how it would play out in such a concept. Overall, while some of the cards are a bit underwhelming, but they fit to the flavor of the setting, while providing interesting effects, too. FF Fan
Thanks for the thoughtful critics, though for Double's effect I guess i worded it improperly, if you deal battle damage with her its doubled and if your opponent kills her you receive double the damage also. Exa Raiun
Sorry, looks like I have misunderstood the effect. In that case, it is meant to lead to OTK combos? Cards like Megamorph, used in conjuction with Double's effect can easily lead to one-hit KOs. Honestly, this card dances on the edge of balanced and overpowered, and I cannot really decide for which it is closer.
labixiaoxin
I do trust all the ideas you have introduced in your post. They are really convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for newbies. Could you please lengthen them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.
