evilfusion Posted May 9, 2012 Report Share Posted May 9, 2012 Well, on one hand, Ritual Spells would become much easier to use, especially Rituals that can Summon more than 1 monster, such as the Gishki Spells, End of the World, and the "generic" Ritual Spells like Contract of the Abyss. The Djinns would become disturbingly good, Advanced Ritual Art would be bannable, and so on. But on the other hand, the Extra Deck is so cramped that it'd just be like how Fusions are now: Struggling for space even in Decks devoted to them. Cards that search for Ritual Monsters would either not exist or become useless, and cards that can pay the entire Tribute for a Ritual would become even better. But it wouldn't be enough. Gishkis may get a boost, but that'd be about it. The issue with Rituals is that their effects aren't usually worth the resources, and even if the resources required were lessened, you still need a specific Spell card and monsters for Tribute. And as evilfusion said, all it would do is clutter the already cluttered extra deck... Why would they do it? For more Deck space? Or for less abuse? I don't think it would be for more deck space seeing as how people managed to fit them in the deck. It'd be stupid if it were to reduce how they are abused. [/quote] Mystic Piper, Kinka Byo, that Lv1 Djinn that stops Traps, Creature Swap, generic Twilight support...really if he were a -1 to bring out as he would be in this situation, soon a 0 after removing a monster, Relinquished would be more than worth it. His effect removes monsters without destroying them, and that's always great. Give this guy Trap immunity and he can be incredibly annoying.
