The nerfed version would get rid of things like Call, reborn, etc. that abused it, Leaving only things like Fear Monger, Dark creator, Dark Horus, and other stuff to get it; even then it's 1 card.
I bring this up because, as I'm messing around in WC2010(Sue me, my AR broke for 2011), reducing it to 1 would make it lose a considerable amount of speed, and only having it be from monster effects.

Aren't D-HERO specific support just called "D"? So that wouldn't work.

This is actually awful now. The problem with cards like this, especially one as good as Disk Commander, is you can't make it balanced because it's either going to be worse than it was, or nowhere near as good.

The closest you could get to something useable:

Yeah this. The card in the OP is badly designed because it completely sucks.

Also,how are this or the ones in the OP that much better than mystic piper?
