Not bad, except it should be a lvl 3 or lower with less atk and def. and like Soldier above me, fix the effect. Other than that, you have the right idea

Anyways, the card is fine, but it's not good, as it's a watered down Kuriboh, other than the fact that you can discard it to reduce Battle damage during either players battle phase, but that really doesn't matter at the moment. What the card needs is, as stated above, a better condition for it to be useful, but even 2000 or less is bad, as it's a condition, and having a condition for Battle damage is what makes the card bad. Take Kuriboh as an example. Does Kuriboh have a condition to the amount of Battle Damage you'd need to take to activate its effect? No, and that is the reason why this card is worse than Kuriboh and would never be used.
