Let's break equips. (2/??)

Recommended Posts

Starting with the most useful one, this is the free +1 tutoring for the deck that allows the deck to use it's theme. Tutoring up a Mage Power or Axe of Despair turn 1 is no longer completely laughable. The entire archetype focuses on a simple theme of having as many equips as possible, and their unique equips have their own effects that can stop Heavy Storm and such, so you're not left completely defenceless with all your equips out.

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 Equip Spell card from your Deck or Graveyard to your Hand. If there is an Equip Spell card equipped to this card, this card gains 200ATK. When this card is destroyed by Battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can return any Equipped Equip Spell cards to your hand.

Generally Dragonclaw focuses as their primary go-to for Attacking, and it can also recycle Equip Spells. Fun Fact, this card was actually based off the MtG Card, Sun Titan. Instead of returning them to the field, they are returned to your hand. I given it 1900ATK base stats simply because any lower would've made it a bad beatstick and any higher would've made it stupid good with equips.

Hmm. This archetype is rather interesting. I like how they can recycle strong equip cards like Big Bang Shot, Junk Barrage, and Axe of Despair. To be honest, I thought of Dragonclaw seeming more like Beast-Warrior, but then again Beast-Warrior has crap support. I like the archetype, and hoping to see more of it. For now, I'm giving it an 8/10

Also, one thing's been bothering me about Dragonclaw's effect. If he's equpped with Twin Lightning Swords, does he get three attacks or just keep two?

I like the set of two cards I think Vylons tried to get in on the equip game my question is though when it comes to cavalry when she dies is she supposed to save the equip that was equipped to her or is she saving another equip on the field (like it is written). If it is the latter I fail to see the point since it sounds like she would die on your opponents turn wouldn't it be good for an equip that is boosting another be used here. If it is the former then I think it should be worded differently.

Dragonclaw kinda scares me because he is a 4 star, 1900, that can swing twice, and increase hand advantage. I mean lets be honest if you game him the equip card armed changer and you can possibly add 4 cards from your graveyard to your hand. So I would think that 1800 or 1700 is a decent starting point because at least that way he needs an equip card to be serious.

I'm going to agree with pretty much everything Beginning said. But I mainly would like to say that these just look aeally interesting, plain and simple. They'd be a really fun archetype to play, probably with some kind of Ben Kai build. I'd honestly like to see what else you could come up with for these. Possibly some support Spells that mill Equips from your deck, since the monsters can recover them for use easily enough.
