MANLANDINGHAM
Kaleste the Summoner "When this card is tribute summoned, place 3 spell counters on it. Once per turn, you can activate one of the following effects: ⦁ Remove 2 spell counters from this card; special summon on level 5, 6, or 7 monster from your hand. ⦁Remove 4 spell counters from this card; special summon one level 5, 6, or 7 monster from your deck. ("Kaleste the Summoner" cannot be summoned by these effects)" Is it too powerful to let is sumon effect monsters? I thought about making it vanillas-only, but then I decided against it. Thoughts? CardCaster
Think it seems cool, I mean you have to tribute it and it is only once per turn anyway. Its quite easy to kill so I wouldn't say its op especially as you can't neccesarily use its good effect right away
newhat
This card supports Constellar Pleiades and other Rank 5 monsters. It can grab a huge range of monsters from the Deck, but it needs Spell Power Grasp, Alchemist of Black Spells, Pitch-Black Power Stone, Magical Plant Mandragora, Magical Citadel of Endymion, Crusader of Endymion, or Apprentice Magician to actually use its second effect, so it doesn't immediately strike me as broken. But I haven't thought of all the targets you can get with it, because there are hundreds. The most obvious one I can imagine is Jinzo, but there are tons.
How about: "When this card is tribute summoned, place 1 spell counters on it. Once per turn, you can activate one of the following effects: ⦁ Remove 2 spell counters from this card; special summon on level 5, 6, or 7 monster from your hand. ⦁Remove 4 spell counters from this card; special summon one level 5, 6, or 7 monster from your deck. Nede
I think it's too strong, the effects, summon high level easily, too easy. Plus, you will get 3 Counters after you tribute summoned its. Make it Special Summon Level 5 or lower only and Maybe, remove 3 Spell Counters to Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower Spellcaster monster, that will make it balanced and more strategic IMO.
