Jolta
There's a hundred and four days of summer vacation And school comes along just to end it So the annual problem for our generation Is finding a good way to spend it... Well, I know what I'm going to do today- no, until June - start my very own art project. My my, this is quite tedious for [s]someone blind like[/s] me. Basically, I was inspired by [s]my good friend[/s] Hanako. [s]She may be shy, but she has quite the talent. At least she still has a pair of eyes to see- wait, how do I draw without vision?[/s] OK, enough chit chat, my friend, I believe it would be wise to begin posting. [s]Would you like a cup of tea?[/s] ~*~Day 1~*~ 29/05/12 http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/458899_126141050855880_204944275_o.jpg This is my OC, Full name Alexis Cobalt Stilton III, AKA "Colby" Stilton. It's a trap, in other words, a crossdressing male, who happens to have a thin, female frame. Note the glassy, pupil-less eyes. I decided to go for Gothic loli. Don't know if doing right or wrong. Katawa Shoujo... hehe... I had no idea what was up my mind... Well, I actually began yesterday, and left out the lines of the uniform on purpose. My hand does look kind of big in this.
Simping For Hina
Have more refined edges. The shape of the head is wrong. Perspective is a key when drawing, which is something that troubles anyone. The shoulders never lift up from anyone. When draw ages, the shoulders would be more slanted downwards as the age is higher. Add color later, focus more on what you can do and try to improve from there. Jolta
My my, I do thank you for the tips! The lifted shoulders are mainly due to his clothing design, which makes his shoulders look higher when its teh cloats... Well, I edited it to make the neck shorter, and the shoulders a little flatter. I'll put it up later, and colour it in my freetime. Up next, day 2 - Hanako and Lilly! It may not be an improvement, but at least I'm challenging myself for poses... *Flips table* Oh gawd, the heads! The eyes are too high, aren't they...
