Resident Fascist
Continuing my theme of cards inspired by MtG, this time it's Vindicate. What's the dice roll based on? Uhh, I don't know. I was thinking of Shattering Spree and it's replicate, although basing it on a Die Roll as well, Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't have mana. Target 1 Card your Opponent controls: Destroy it. Then, your Opponent declares a Number between 1 and 5. Roll a Dice. If the number is higher than the declared number, Target 1 Card your Opponent controls and Destroy it, then repeat the Dice Roll. If the number is lower than the declared number: Discard 1 card, If your Opponent declared a number higher than 3, They discard 1 Card. "Just when you thought you survived the first." newhat
You're rolling a six-sided die, correct? In that case, why would your opponent ever declare any number except 6? This card is functionally a cross between Tribute to the Doomed and Dark World Lightning: "Target 1 card your opponent controls: destroy it, then discard 1 card." It could force Lightpulsar to miss the timing, so it might be all right in Dark World. Raigeki Break does approximately what this does (as a Trap Card). Yugimons doesn't have Flavor Text on cards with effects, but it's fine. EDIT: You appear to have changed the effect while I was typing. No matter! I will revise. You will eventually discard, unless you wipe your opponent's field. So now, unless your opponent wants to discard a card, they must take a 50/50 shot at you destroying another card and getting, at worst, a 1 for 1. And no matter what, there's a 1 in 6 chance that you'll destroy another card anyways, so if they discarded to stack the odds they'll take a -1. This card is...about right. Yeah, it's probably fine. It's no Vindicate.
Love of Ghibli
It's a pretty cheap shot at gambling but its an odd math problem that really results in one card being destroying. Btw you never really discuss the situation if the die rolls in the number your opponent called idles that mean nothing happens.
Garthfunkle Vii Backwards
maybe some help on the efectt : my stab in the dark .......... with night vision googles ........ Target 1 Card on the Field: Destroy it. Then, your Opponent declares a Number between 1 and 5. Roll a Dice. If the number is higher than the declared number, Target 1 Card on the Field and Destroy it, then roll a Dice. If the number is equal to or lower than the declared number: reveal 1 card in your Hand then Discard 1 card if you do not discard the revealed card your opponent discard 1 card. pretty good concept 1 destruction with a chance of getting a bonus at the risk of -1 hand in a way a weaker verison of lightning vortes : discard 1 card destroy all face-up monster your opponent control but this can be a tad better you can select spell trap or monster weither its face up on face down
Synchronized
It's broken based on the first part of the effect that says "Target 1 card on the field; destroy it". The fact that this is a cost-less Spell Card that has the ability to be more than a +0 makes it ridiculous. The reason Raigeki Break isn't used as much is because it's a Trap Card, so it's slower, and it requires a discard. This thing is just insane.
well it has a chance to have a cost : discard so luck / a card effect to allow re-roll the dice decides wiether it has a cost

In addition, you could technically hit 2 cards on the field, AND make your opponent discard a card, and repeat. Now I'm not sure if the way it's worded, should you not roll a higher number and have to discard, you don't continue rolling, or what, but either way, it's still insanely powerful and the luck-based factor doesn't exactly make it any more balanced.
