So, I also feel like making a Felidar Sovereign deck on this special day. Taking a completely different direction from Jordan though.

It's surprisingly fun to literally just stack and stack and stack these beauties. You start with the two Soul Sisters, Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant. Then, you also have the equally good Auriok Champion and Suture Priest. And literally just gain disgusting amounts of life with more cheap creatures and also Lingering Souls (one of the reasons for Black splash). The other big reason for Black splash was for Blood Artist. Being able to push ahead in life even when your small blockers die is really important. Especially against big nukes. It's good as a second version of Suture Priest too. Kinda.

Birthday decks are cool. And cats are very cool. You will probably have enough life to insta-win by the time you cast this. The reason there are two copies is simply just in case one gets countered. Of course you can win by beatdown with your dozens of creatures, but you probably would have died by then. If you are going out by beatdown, abuse Suture Priest and Blood Artist too. It's also strangely easy to lifelink out a few times to win too.

Simply put, Kitchen Finks is good. Being able to gain four life and block two attacks out of a 3 mana creature is pretty good. Persist means that the abilities of our core creatures will indeed trigger twice. Yes, you could potentially gain 84 life and do 12 damage out of 3 copies of Kitchen Finks. If that happens, I will eat my bowtie. 3 copies is sufficient. You can put in a fourth if wished though.

Also good. Having four Lantern Kamis. Awesome. Chump blocking with them will probably be the most common thing to do with them. Helps against nukes, field presence and all sorts of stuff.

I could have potentially used these slots for Wall of Reverence, but I decided a creature with Vigilance was really good here. But mainly, because, well, I needed a backup. Any sort of mass sweep, boom, dead. So, Persist and massive hand returning is good. Very good.

Why these two over the other white/black planeswalkers? Well, first on Ajani. Other options include either one of the Elspeths. But Ajani. Well, look at his -1. It's just good. I mean Knight-Errant's -2 ability is subpar. Even with instant Soldiers and basically an insta-win Ultimate. But look! +1/+1 counters. They're just so good here. Black and Blue can't dent you much with their one-shot removal when you have another 10 creatures doing the same thing and Blood Artist feeding off it. White won't be able to nuke you with your anti-nuke protection. Ajani just helps against Red and Green decks. Yay for invulnerability to the colour pie.

Sorin too. Sorin acts as my pseudo-Elspeth with extra lifelink added into it. And look at that goddamn -2 ability. Emblems that grant +1/+0. How about turning this into a beatdown deck? And the ultimate does trigger all my stuff. A lot.

This could be the game that your game could have ended up like. Look at the battlefield. Now, back to me. Look in my hands: Vault of the Archangel. Now back to the battlefield, now back to me, now back to the battlefield. What's that? Oh, it's a field with a multiple-1/1 white lifelink & deathtouch wall of oblivion in your opponent's face.

Basically, another option instead of Oblivion Ring. Or as more Oblivion Rings. Just drop out some of the worse Soul Sisters. Or Blood Artist.

Oh hi! I set off Blood Artist and, when you use Vault of the Archangel, I can basically make every single creature you control into a disgustingly effective suicide bomber!

Basically, an overall cool card. Good against mono-white control actually.

Honor of the Pure is a nice boost for your big wall army. If you go down the Intangible Virtue route, be sure to include stuff like Midnight Haunting and Spectral Procession.

Especially with the new M13 card, Rhox Faithmender, this just completely obliterates. And it's a Wall. Which makes it instantaneously cool.
