Shirley Fenette
I presume this is supposed to be in this section. It's kinda of a joke, but a realistic one, so I put it here. Sorry If I placed it in the wrong section.
Garthfunkle Vii Backwards
so a way to have 6 of em in your main deck? there nothing wrong wrong with it really! pic could be better but its works with what you are going for
Shirley Fenette
I was kinda using this rule as the balancing of the card: "The name of "Harpie Lady 1", "Harpie Lady 2", and "Harpie Lady 3" is treated as "Harpie Lady" for all purposes, including Deck construction. So you can have 2 copies of "Harpie Lady 1" in your Deck and 1 copy of "Harpie Lady 2", but not 2 copies of each because you would have 4 cards in your Deck treated as "Harpie Lady". This restriction also applies to your Side Deck, so if you have 3 monsters treated as "Harpie Lady" in your Deck, you cannot have any in your Side Deck." But I just found out that according to yu-gi-oh Wikipedia, this was a previous official ruling, so I don't know if this is still true or not.Oh, and this card would be semi-limited along with "Marshmallon".Thanks for the feedback. The image was just my limited gimp skills :).
Guest Chris
Monsters with the same name via their effects are still ruled that way. One example is A Legendary Ocean and Umi, where you can only run a maximum combined total of 3. However no such ruling exists for semi-limited cards because the situation has never occurred, so there is no ruling to say if you could have a total of 2 of this and Marshmallon combined or if you could run 2 Marshmallon and one of this. However, the idea is entirely pointless anyway, since if Marshmallon were to move on the list then that would be all that's necessary to have it be allowed more spaces in a deck, and not another card that doesn't even have a different effect. Cards like this are essentially spam because they don't actually generate a new card, especially in this case, where you essentially have just posted Marshmallon with no thought in it whatsoever. Shirley Fenette
I suppose your right.
Partangle the Candle Jangler
This is so totally pointless, why did you make it? All you really did was turn his smile upside down and copy and paste the original effect. Seems stupid.
Shirley Fenette
Well, I thought it was a cute idea at first, now I'm not pleased with myself.Eh, I think I'll come up with something that isn't what you said.
Retroninja15
Can you give it a different Effect. You could atleast give it a effect different from the original Marshmallon.Something related to inflicting damage to your opponent.
Shirley Fenette
I don't know what though. I think I'll rework it's effect actually, just to make him actually have a point to exist.
Retroninja15
You can add a family trait for the marshmallon's. And useful traps and spells, like marshmallon glasses.
Strider Tigerwolf
On the rulings part: Its been stated above. This is one of the reasons why I retrained the "Harpie" monsters in my True Force thread. Second off, since its a "Sad" marshmellon, why not give him a "counter" effect. Marshmellon deals 1000 Damage, so maybe that should be the base effect for this monster, but the second one, maybe a little different such as... "When this card leaves the field: Add 1 "Marshmellon" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand." or something. It would actually be even better if it didn't have "This card's name is always treated as "Marshmellon"." and instead "This card's name is treated as "Marshmellon" while on the field or Graveyard." that way you can have multiple copies of this card. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Have it treated as Marshmallon when it's on the Field only, so you can run this and the real one while making them both usable with Glasses - maybe an entire archetype can be made. Seeing as the real one is happy and this sad, maybe you can gain... perhaps 1500 life points when it is attacked Face-down? Healing is useless in this game, so I thought it would work at 1500. Also, if you look closely, you can see the box that was flipped to make this Marshmallon sad.
Shirley Fenette
Could very well do... Well, I wanted to give the card some balance in terms of how many Marshmallon's you can use in your deck. Sounds pretty good to me. Ah, that's my poor editing skills, sorry! Shirley Fenette
So, something more like this? "This card's name is treated as "Marshmallon" while on the field or Graveyard. The controller of this monster that is attacked while this card is face-down gains 2000 Life Points after damage calculation. "Marshmallon"(s) on your side of the field cannot be destroyed by card effects."
Strider Tigerwolf
:o now that's an interesting effect. It actually gives a nice Life Point benefit, and if used right can make "Marshmallon" a very powerful shield. Much better, though I think it might need some more support. Thinking about adding any more additions to the "Marshmallon" set?
Shirley Fenette
Sort of, I don't know how I'll pull there effects off, but I'm thinking of basing there art off emotion icons, such as "Angry" and "Cool"."Cool" for example, could search the any card with Marshmallon in it's name. Angry could inflict significant burn damage.
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
At first, I was like "Woah, not 2000!" Then I saw that it couldn't be killed by card effects and was like "Really? What?" Goes to show what happens when you don't read the thing completely. 2000 is a lot, but it isn't that bad if it can die in battle. I mean, Nimble Momanga does exist and if it isn't used, this probably wouldn't either outside of a Marshmallon Deck.
Retroninja15
Is Marshmallon a girl or boy? This question always give my brain a hard time. . . 1.Marshmallon2.Sad Marshmallon3.Cool Marshmallon4.Angry Marshmallon5.Disform Marshmallon6.Marshmallon trio7.Marshmallon Queen8.Marshmallon King You can really think of many names for Marshmallons.
