Tentacruel
So YCM, let's have a serious discussion on the current happenings in Syria, Russia's involvement, the USA's involvement and all that jazz. So basically there's a rebel uprising in Syria because the government is killing people a lot, the USA is considering what it will do, and Russia is donating Gunships to Syria to bomb villages that are affiliated with the rebels. Darth Revan of the Sith
I have been trying to start a movement in the United States that would urge the US government to intervene in the conflict and oust Bashir Al-Assad and arrest him for humanitarian law violations. However noone gave a sh*t so I shelved the project. Most of the people I tried to recruit told me the conflict wasn't worth their time. "Dude, nobody cares about politics man so shut up about it." "What the hell is Syria?" "The Kony 2012 movement is better dude, why don't yo join them instead of trying to make your own movement just so you can be popular." These responses really make me dislike the people I know.

Cin
Another country who attacks it's own people and blames terrorists for any protests against them. I do wish it would be resolved just for the huge number of civilian casualties.
Legend Zero
I honestly have no clue why governments keep doing this. You would think after the first half dozen or so countries tried and failed to resist with force, that everyone else would see that fighting your own people is pointless. I haven't looked into this too much, but that's because almost anything written from an American perspective will demonize Russia when they might be doing the logical thing for them. *shrug*
