that's true, although they were bad cards that had effects involving Cont S/T, so they [i]had[/i] to put them in as lame filler

but despite that, i still don't see Alexandra Queen being in this set

Wikia confirms date of release, and that although no cards are listed for the set yet, there will be 5 new ones/exclusives.

Most likely predominant to be spells, given how few traps Kite has used and his only unreleased monsters being Pirate and Delta Attack (although with Kite vs Tron to come, that could see some better ones come along).

i swear if they give us Goddess with the Third Eye and Shining Angel, just because Kite returned them to his deck with Photon Veil, i might say heads are gonna roll, heck i wouldn't be surprised if they put Poly in there either
although they could put in Sabre Tiger and Trident instead of 2 of the 3 above cards i mentioned, if they wanted to (and there are 4 unlikelys/most likely won't happens: Photon Wyvern, Photon Current, Number 30 and 56)

Well before the site went down, I was going to edit my post to say that discounting Goddess, Angel and Poly, Kaito has only used 22 cards released from the anime:

(For the record: Galaxy Eyes, Daybreaker, Lightserpent, Plasma Ball, Reverse Buster, Cereburus, Lizard, Thrasher, Crusher, Leo, Circle, Kaiser, Twin Lizard, Neo Galaxy Eyes, Illumiknight, Giganto, Acid Golem, Photon Lead, Photon Veil, Galaxy Storm, Overlay Regenerate, Photonize).

So the argument for including Sabre Tiger and Trident from the TCG, Goldrat from the Jump Promo, Photon Booster at random, or Wyvern, Sanctuary and Rising Stream from the manga are all possible. Think Acid Golem will be in there since he summoned it, but not Goldrat.

i was gonna discount those 3 as well, since they were used/seen once, and i don't think Konami would include those 3 anyway, unless they really want ot annoy us

i'm still a bit iffy on Number 30 and 56 though since they are promos, but i know that's a dumb argument, heck Number 56 isn't out in TCG yet and it'll most likely come out as a promo first, however since we won't get this in TCG until next year anyway (stupid Konami not giving us DP Yuma yet) it could be plausible to put them in there, so when the pack comes out in TCG they'd be legal for use in EU

so basically i would say it's more likely see Number 30 and 56 in this set than Wyvern, Sanctuary and Current, because the latter 3 were released in the PC tin and Konami said: "[i]This will be the only chance for gamers to get their hands on these Premium collector cards as they will be sold exclusively in this tin release![/i]"

Well at the end of the day (and this really doesn't matter in terms of whether it will be there or not, its me just spouting) but who actually [i]wants[/i] Number 56 in the set? I mean really wants it? The only reason I can think of is for simply completeing a collection of all one hundred Numbers if released. The other four he's actually used and are various shades of decentish to epic will do me fine.

If you're going to consider 56, I'd say you'd have to consider Number 9 as well. Is that possible?

In terms of the so far unreleased cards:

Pirate and Delta Attack are both shruggable;
Forced Release is possible, wheras Overlay Break does the same thing plus a Anti-Anime-Numbers effect;
Shift Up is also possible;
Photon Sublimination (please release without nerfing to hell like all other +1 spells);
Photon Wind as another anti-anime-Numbers card;
Photon Hurricane, Spear and Pressure World all extremely meh (and we have Trident in Spears case);
Big Bang Plot device;
Mirror Shade is a better Iron Resolve (implying Iron Resolve is good somehow);
Armoured Back and Battle Simulation;
Photon Shock plot device

and Feelings Towards the Future...

Think most likely will be cards used in his quarter and semi finals; after all Duelist Pack Yuma came out around about the time the exclusive cards had just/recently appeared in the anime from memory.

i'd say Number 9 might be pushing it imo. The only reason why i considered Number 56 in the first place was because it's a better option than Shining Angel, Goddess with the Third Eye and Poly, and who would want those in the set either. As far as i'm concerned, those 3 don't exist, i might go as far as acting as if Kaito never used them.
Although come to think of it, the Numbers in DP Yuma, may not have been used by Yuma, but they were in his (or Astral's posession). So given the set's release date it might be more logical that Number 9 could be included in there rather than 56, however given that ABRY comes in in July i'm not too sure on that myself.

Hmm, I severely doubt Number 9 would be in there, I'm just throwing out there as on the borders of possible consideration.

Thing is Volca and Freezer weren't reprints, they were debuting in the only place they could really be squeezed in (other than V-Jump or similar). Also Volca was the exclusive 'money' card of the set that everyone wanted to pull (although Gagaga Back and Shield are both reasonable).

With Neo Galaxy running amok you don't really need that/already have that for this set, but still hopefully we'll just get five good new cards that give Photons a much needed push on.

Although i wasn't merely counting Number 9 in the first place, you suggested it when i was talking about Number 56. Anways i just had a thought, looking at the list of released cards that Kaito had used:
- Shining Angel
- Goddess with the 3rd Eye
- Poly

+ Booster
+ Sabre Tiger
+ Trident
and of course include Number 30 into the mix, then we would have 25 cards. I hope that Kaito uses some amazing cards in his duel against Tron. and that should be my last 2 cents on the subject because i'm getting a bit tired of this quote war between me and you

I'm actually enjoying having a good discussion in this section and all we've theorized about this set. It's a very rare thing for me.

But yeah, I think between us we've solved it. Maybe.
