Spore and Glow-Up bulb are gone, but plant-type decks can still survive if they adapt to form new strategies with this card.

Target 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard: Special Summon it from your Graveyard to your opponent's side of the field in face-up Defense Position and equip it with this card. Decrease the ATK and DEF of all your opponent's monsters by the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster, respectively. A monster Special Summoned by this card's effect is banished when it would be removed from the field.

I have to give you credit, the idea behind this card is rather impressive. Assuming you had an actual instead of throwing together what worked. And it may very well be useful, but hardly in any competitive deck since you'd just rather blow things up or remove them from the field first. Might have someone actually teach me plants now... kudos on at least getting me interested as well.

I loved plants before they were nerfed through the ground. Right now, however, they are hardly worth learning, unless something like this got released. I think that when saying there are no competitive decks that could make use of this card, I think you are underestimating the power of stun decks. Consider giving your opponent something like Cactus bouncer. The effect would still be active, and the ATK of all their monsters would be reduced by 1800, giving you a huge advantage in such a deck, where the 1800 beatstick preventing Special Summons would not be bad in and of itself. Plant stun could actually become a viable option.

Wow I love this card's idea but you're giving away a free monster, If you don't take advantage the turn you would activate this card your opponent might DO with a Synchro Summon or anything else, it's easy to get rid off (by destroying the Spell or Tributing the SS Monster) but still it's a great idea of yours :D

BTW/Offtopic. Are Spore and Glow-Up bulb banned now? :o I thought Glow-Up was just limited to 1.

Hey, how about Samsara Lotus? Your opponent's monsters won't lose any ATK, but you can do 1000 damage a turn. It seems like a reasonable combo. Come to think of it, the way it is written, this card will decrease the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster to 0, which will then remove the dap, which will then cause this card to decrease the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster to 0...How does it interact with the equipped monster? Does it go by original ATK? Does it only dap their other monsters?

What would be the point of that?
