TheKaitoKid
Here we have a few new cards that work in a Chaos build. You have Valyrie, who is LIGHT and can be Special Summoned very easily. Also she lets you draw when you Chaos Summon [my term for banishing LIGHTS & DARKS for the summon of a monster]. We have Tribute, which can be both offensive and defensive. It lets you tribute a Special Summoned LIGHT or DARK monster and draw 1 card. That means you can pop one of your own monsters or pop the opponent's in a mirror match. I also believe LPD would miss timing against this card. Could either be a -1 or a +1 depending on how you play it. Then we have Judgement, which negates the Special Summon of a LIGHT or DARK monster then allows you the option to banish up to 2 LIGHT or DARK monsters from your opponent's Graveyard to make sure they don't immediately Chaos Summon more bosses..And last but not least is Chaos Beast Seraphim. He has no summoning restrictions and on the field he's just a beatstick. When you banish him to Chaos Summon a monster he Special Summons himslef giving you really good field presence. He's average but not bad at all. Must first be Special Summon (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard. When this monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard: Target 1 of your banished LIGHT or DARK monsters; return the target to the Graveyard. When this monster is banished from the Graveyard for the Special Summon of a LIGHT or DARK monster: Special Summon it. If this monster is Special Summoned this way: Banish it when it leaves the field. Thoughts & feedback would be appreciated. Love of Ghibli
I like the set but tribute to the light seems to be a worse Jar of Greed and its a trap card so it would just slow down chaos build. Judgement is hilarious because how is that not the perfect side deck card to go against chaos dragons? Just wondering why was it put in this set like it would help chaos builds. I like Valkryie I don't know if she'll ever be special summoned but the draw effect is always nice. Seraphim pretty much is the best card of the set but he kind of tips the line of Overpowered to me. I mean just to be able to constantly be reused over and over while gaining field presence is pretty scary to me.
Ren✧
I like the set. But some of the cards need a few tweaks. Tribute to the Light, as Beginning said, is just a worse Jar of Greed. Perhaps make it so you can draw 2 cards and possibly make it spell? I love Judgment of the Light, seeing as it is Anti-Chaos. Which brings me to the point, why is it included in this set if it is anti-chaos? I love the card, just wondering. Seraphim is a great idea, but he does seem a bit OP'ed. Because he is constantly able to be Special Summoned, I think you need to lower his ATK to 2000. and add in that he cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. TheKaitoKid
Bump Changes made. Tribute is now a Spell Card. It still only allows you to draw 1 card since you can tribute any Special Summoned LIGHT or DARK monster on the field. That means you can Tribute your opponent's monster too. Allowing you to draw more than 1 card would net you too much advantage [should you tribute your opponent's monster] and would render the card OP'd. Judgement is included in here just so the set isn't overpowered with no way to stop the other [more powerful] Chaos monsters. Serpahim is now a Semi-Nomi monster and banishes himself when he leaves the field [after Special Summoning himself]. This means his effect can only really be used once per duel, unless you expend some resources to bring him back to the Graveyard.
