Wasn't there a combo back in the day where you summon a 1500+ ATK monster, equip with UWS, then flip Scapegoat? And any thoughts on Charge of the Light Brigade or Black Whirlwind? With JD at 1, I'm not worried about LS. Black Whirlwind means I can't unlimit Gale and BW appreciate Gale as much as Whirlwind, at least. Whirlwind just makes everyone want to play BWs. [/quote] With a slower format, Zombies get so long to setup that their explosive plays with 3 PSZ seem kinda insane. I could be wrong though, but I don't want the format to be dominated by Zombies. Kristya banned actually makes a lot of sense. If anything, considering Earth back to 1, or else Agent format is pretty inevitable. Torrential is too strong a card to be @3, imo. @2 it punishes a player for wasting their TTs, @3 they really can be used mindlessly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mido9 Posted August 3, 2012 Report Share Posted August 3, 2012 Zombies still only have 1 mezuki(would probably be a good exchange for 2 plagues),1 burial and are down a brio,they wouldnt go wild with just two more plagues. I think the format would be karakuri/GB/BW/Agent/gadget/hero/junk doppel format,all those decks get a boost from the toptier getting nerfed. Using torrential randomly isnt a good idea since you might not get another torrential and end up losing for messing up with your old torrential,i dont think anyone would use it haphazardly at 3. [/quote] Well, I guess PSZ is worth testing @2 if anything, tbh. Seems like the kinda format I'd want to aim for, really. It's not insanely fast by any means. Definitely a format where Kristya shouldn't see play in so I'll change that. TT is still a skilless card when you have 3 of it. If you draw 2, you can still use the first however you want, with no repercussion. Heck, the same then goes for the second, since you still have a third. Being able to draw something like that so consistently in a board-presence format seems horrible. I plan to watch and see how Rabbit works out in the Tourney you're gonna make, but I don't like the idea of a topdeckable win condition. Even if it's not as insane as Cat, it's still really stupid at even 1. But, like I said, gonna use the tourney to decide if it's that bad or not.
