byak Posted July 10, 2012 Report Share Posted July 10, 2012 No one ever really intended to use Future Fusion for the actual fusion monster resultant, outside of shitty HERO decks. And in other shitty HERO decks, it was used to set up Miracle Fusion, send Zephyros for Alive HERO combos, send Malicious, etc Hell this was optimal in Cloudian OTK and maybe other Water Synchro decks for sending Fishborg and Malicious. Other stupid uses for this card throughout the years came in the form of Future Fusion + Overload Fusion OTK, Jinzo OTK, and the more recent dump every Dragon and search Dark Armed OTK. This is due to the fragility in Future Fusion itself. You can't expect Future Fusion to consistently stay on the field long enough for the fusion monster to make a difference, which is why it was almost always used for other purposes.
