Because I brought this up in the FHD thread, and it's a prime example of... Well, it's not outright broken, so how to put this... Well, I'm using broken very loosely here. It's an example of "Broken" vs. "Broken in a Situation".

In the current game state, this card isn't noticeable, really. No high tier decks use it, and there's no specific combo that uses it, so, on paper, it's balanced. But, that's really not the truth. It's comparable to Destiny HERO - Malicious in the same way that Sinister Serpent is comparable to Treeborn Frog. That is to say, loosely, but the same basic idea. It's a stream of easy, deck thinning +1s, which the decks that use it love because of how they use up resources. It can make a cost free easily, and the only exchange is that it exists purely for fodder; like the other three cards mentioned. In an ideal game, a card like this would go to 2, but it's not an ideal game.

Anyways, done rambling. Discuss.

I hate the bunny so much. He back-flucks so many good cards just because he outclasses their abilities.

He also made Normal Monsters except Mystical Shine Ball actually viable. It's good card design.

OT: The only thing that is to be discussed in here has been already said, but I'm gonna say it again anyways.

Gem-Knights.

Jesus Christ I hope you're joking.

I'm deadly serious bro.

See, Rescue Rabbit made dozens of decks possible on its own. It made crappy Normal Monsters usable, if not even extremely abusable, at times. In my eyes, the undermeta is way more important than the tournaments.

Also, face it: Without Laggia, Rabbit's only tournament-level use is Ophion. Yes, Rabbit supports broken stuff, but it also supports a hundred underpowered decks that can't live without it.

And before you say "they'd eventually have to ban it anyways because they'd release more broken non-Generic Xyz": All Konami has to do is to make them "2x Level 4 X-Type Effect Monsters". I doubt they'd be that smart, but given a solution exists, Rabbit isn't the main problem.

You guys HAVEN'T seen Vanilla Dark World.dek. Neither have you guys seen Labyrinth Tank.dek. All those depend on Rabbit. Why kill them off in the process too?

I don't want Lonefire to happen again. They should have killed Dandy instead. Same with this.

Kenta, we all know how this is gonna end.

People will b**** and complain about Rabbit because the guy who wrote the effect, or was ordered to, didn't put a clause saying no other monster could be Special Summoned that turn. Namely, I see the combo being broken.

Very few people (At my locals at least) will want to try out new and fun decks. Why? Cause they want to win and to do so they will field the most broken combo and thus making Rabbit a target under the large and unlidded red eye that is YCM.

Now, PM me and tell me more about these new decks.

Except Laggia is good design, and killing it would kill Evols along with Dino decks that evolved from the fact that Laggia exists. Which are a f*** of a lot more important to keep seeing as they're better than any of the undermeta stuff you feel the need to protect.

Rabbit is a 1-card-Xyz which is f***ing abysmal design.

Rabbit IS the problem. Limiting it is the solution.

Seeing as your bolded opinion is the complete opposite of my main thesis, I don't think we can ever conclude this argument.

Your main thesis is trying to not kill horribly undermeta decks which the banlist doesn't care for. The banlist cares for the top decks and the top decks only.
