The "Deck Digger"s: Awful Deck Thinning/Draw Support (and a Lesson of What Not to Do)

In an attempt to flex my card-making muscle (possibly because of this thread: [url="http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/285678-volcanic-shell/"]http://forum.yugiohc...volcanic-shell/[/url]), I decided to make some Deck thinning/Draw support cards. Considering I had wanted to make a single or small set based on coal mining/tunneling, this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I typed these up in about 10 minutes.

What I hadn't taken into account was how much I [i]suck[/i] at Deck/Draw support[i].[/i] I personally prefer making utilitarian Spells and undermeta Monsters, and I'm not too fond of the current metagame (what with those damn Xyzs), so in hindsight, this is pretty out-of-character.

Eventually, I decided to re-purpose them as a less-than serious example of what [i]not[/i] to do when making Deck/Draw support, and why you should put some real thought behind your cards' costs and benefits--at least more than 10 minutes' worth of thought. I can't really tell if they're more UP'd/OP'd, only that they're (as far I see them) just bad. Hey, I'm allowed to make sucky cards every now and then, right?


...at least, [i]I[/i] think they're bad. Please tell me what [i]you[/i] think; I could be wrong about these things.
