[Lunatic God Oni] Dread's attempt at a balanced non Xyz monster. [Single]

Recommended Posts

After my previous attempt at non-Xyz monster failed miserably, I decided to try again and this time use something a little harder to summon and less splashable. Picture is also very different from all the other cards I used, but trust me, they're from the same site.
Cannot be Normal Summoned. Can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 Xyz monster you control. When this card attacks, destroy all cards your opponent controls on the same column of the monster attacked. After this effect has been used three times, both players must discard 2 random cards. If a card is to be returned to it's owner's hand, destroy it instead.
Maybe broken, since I suck bricks at balancing cards, as pointed out numerous times. This card's main use is to stop return to hand combos and spell/trap destruction. The hand destruction effect is there to balance it out, even though it may have failed miserably. So as usual, rate, fix [s]my rancid OCG[/s] if broken and CnC is always more than welcome.

Card Changes: 7/11/2012 Changed summoning condition.

[s]Nooooooooooooo!!! My lil' Madolches!!!![/s]

"destroy all cards your opponent controls on the same column of the monster attacked". A weird effect, if I have to say so myself. If this card exists, it would be a new twist to the YGO Games!

Else, isn't this card pretty weak for its cost? There are a lot of things you can do with two Xyz. This card is strong and creative, but it won't do well, I think.

Ruling question again, about [s]my sweet, lovable[/s] Madolche Archetype. What would happen if a Madolche is destroyed with their Field face-up while someone is controlling this card?

Well... I normally can't rate anything unless I actually play them.

But, yeah, this time, for certain, please do your best and try again. (<- my rating).

As far as I know, most of the really successful Decks won't even care about "return to hand". Furthermore, if they actually do so, then it's just to their opponent, and monster being returned to hand mostly hurt more than being sent to Graveyard.

About Madolche, they themselves are invincible, and it's almost impossible to destroy them unless their effects are negated. Very trolling. Then again, they are not destroyed, but you could still lose, that's Madolche. Those are three random effects in one card. lol

Unfortunately its not worth any 2 Xyz I can think of (because that means I probably gave up 6 monsters for 1)

I'm curious about the first part if the monster you attack is destroyed by this cards effect and there wasn't even mention of damage calculation then what happens to your attack?

The second effect seems random but I don't know why would -2 yourself and the third effect is weird because it works in perfect conjunction with Brio to become hilariously broken. Well its not broken because those summoning conditions are pretty outrageous and in addition to summoning brio too AND using brio's effect. All those resources better lead to an end game lol
